What's New October 22, 2009

Awhile back this country was having problems with aircraft parts. It seemed that some of the most common parts, such as screws and bolts were being used that were substandard and would break very easily. It seems that this problem has been corrected, at least in the US. Russia is experiencing a parts problem now, but it is with their fighter jets. Prosecutors have tried and convicted several aviation company executives. It turns out that they were selling used and sometimes defective parts as new parts and even building planes out of them and they were used on MIGs. The problem is so bad that Algeria had canceled its entire MIG order because of this and is also returning the MIGs that were already delivered. Welcome to capitalism. Now the issue arises, are the Russian airliners safe?

What is all this fuss over Google Logos? In case you have not heard, a very big deal was made when a Google Logo came out that had a UFO above the second “O” in the word Google and seemed to be abducting it, using a beam that was coming out of the bottom of the craft. This was the first logo that featured a UFO. Two more logos were released that also feature UFOs. Is Google trying to tell us something and if so, exactly what is it? When a huge, popular company that has such high visibility comes out with logos such as these, it is bound to stir interest not only in the Internet community, but in even broader areas. Perhaps it is something as simple as deciding if they should use one of these logos for UFO searches, or for creating a UFO search engine. Google says that their latest UFO logo, showing an invasion by UFOs, is a tribute to H.G. Wells.

An article appeared in a Canadian newspaper that states that there is something strange in a small lake that is located on Vancouver Island. Since the lake is not that big, maybe this will make it easier for researchers to explore the lake and find out what is going on? There are at least six known witnesses that state that they saw something strange swimming in the lake. Researchers went out on the lake using fish finders and something registered on their equipment. They lowered a camera and guess what? It fell off its mounting. Don't you hate when this happens? All they would say is that they detected something BIG. On top of all this, the researchers said that they will have to wait to next summer to continue their search, because the weather was deteriorating.

It looks like a new disease has reared its ugly head. It was reported on September 19, 2009, that a mysterious disease is killing tribesmen in Jharkhand, in eastern India. As of that date 11 people have already died. A member of the disease surveillance program, has said that officials are still trying to find out more about this mysterious disease. He went on to say that preventative measures would be taken after the affected people in the tribe were examined. The official said that the disease comes on suddenly and those infected suffer from stomach problems and their skin turns yellow. Let's hope that something didn't escape from a lab somewhere, or that something was released to sell more drugs.

An unknown creature crawled out of a lake in South American and charged school children. The attack took place in mid September, 2009, in the town of Cerro Azul, Panama. The creature was described as five feet. A later report stated that the creature was actually in a cave and ran over rocks, presumably in the lake, to attack. The children were two boys between the ages of 14 and 16 years. They were terrorized, but thought fast and began to hurl rocks at the creature and succeeded in killing it. They then pushed it back in the water and ran away. The children's parents went to the beach the next day and were stunned to see the animal's corpse, which had washed back up on the beach. Speaking about strange things, West Palm Beach, Florida is claiming that there is something strange in the waters off its coast. It has been named the Muck Monster. It is a ripple that keeps appearing. It has gotten to the point that as of the writing of this article, City Commissioners are discussing whether to install telescopes and feeding pallets. Bermuda Triangle

It is being claimed that the mystery disappearance of two British planes over the Bermuda Triangle has been solved. The planes disappeared over 60 years ago. A writer has said that he knows the reason for this. The planes, he said, were poorly designed. The flights from London to Bermuda also required a refueling stop at the Azores, before continuing another 2,000 miles to Bermuda. He says that the planes were operating at the limit of their range and he believes that the first plane just ran out of fuel. He states that the first plane, which carried 25 passengers and a crew of 6 was having mechanical problems before it even reached the Azores. The heater had went out along with a compass and it is though that the pilot of this plane decided to fly it much lower to keep the passengers warm. The problem with this is more air resistance and that means using more fuel, which is not good when you have just enough to reach your destination when flying at the designated altitude. The plane also ran into very strong headwinds meaning burning even more fuel. It was a converted warplane. It had to be taken out of service because it had a poor safety record. Gordon Store was the chief pilot and manager for BSAA operations, the company that owned the second plane which was the same plane as the first. He said that he had no confidence in the plane's engines. He was quoted as giving a newspaper the following statement last November, "Its systems were hopeless… all the hydraulics, the air-conditioning equipment and the recycling fans were crammed together underneath the floor without any thought. There were fuel-burning heaters that would never work,"

The second plane disappeared about a year later over the Bermuda Triangle. It had taken off from Bermuda on 17 January, 1949 and disappeared about one hour later. This plane was known to have enough fuel since it was only flying an hour. It is believed that something went wrong with the plane and it plunged into the ocean, never to be seen again. After examining this type of plane, it was realized that gas going to the heater could have ignited under certain circumstances, causing a horrible fire, while the plane was in the air. Is this what happened to this plane, or did both planes become victims to the Bermuda Triangle?

It has been revealed that a series of mysterious Post-it notes were discovered pasted to Michael Jackson's bathroom mirror that were written just before his death. Some were well wishes for the world and others stated that he was aware of his obligations.
