War
The Underground Base Building War

Sometimes something comes up that I might know a little more about than most, the reason being that I experienced it. One of those things is military installations that were hidden under towns and cities. When I was in the military I had to visit some of these installations as part of my job, so I became familiar with some of these bases. There they were, sitting under cities and towns and the people in those places had no knowledge that they were sitting over nuclear facilities. Yes you heard me correctly, NUCLEAR FACILITIES. That was during the Cold War and these places have probably been closed down, because they were only there to provide anti-aircraft protection for the United States. The missiles had nuclear warheads however. The thinking was that a missile could knock down a formation of planes just by firing it into the group. Today the worry is more about incoming missiles and smuggled nukes, so these bases would serve no purpose, but I mentioned them to demonstrate that we really don't know much about what is even under our feet.

I have talked about all the digging going on in this country by the military and how many, if not all, bases are being connected underground. It turns out that the entire world is on an underground base building kick. The Russians are doing it, as are the Iranians, probably the North Koreans, the British have them as do many of the countries of the world. Why is this? Some of it is due to the effectiveness of new bunker buster bombs. They are able to go deeper than ever. The same is true for the new generation of guided missiles, some of which are designed for this particular job. In 2003 the U.S. was trying to think up ways of sending a bunker buster missile to the moon. They wanted to explode it in a crater. The official story was that they wanted to see if there was water ice there. We all know that eventually they did send a missile to the moon and explode it, but the reason is cloudy. There are many different opinions on why that was done.

The depth of the construction became deeper and deeper all over the world and the U.S. began to start pushing for nuclear bunker buster bombs, because some of the construction in foreign countries was so deep that the US was afraid that if we ever went to war with those countries, we wouldn't be able to reach their underground bunkers with a conventional explosive. So what am I saying? I am saying that there is a war going on and that war is a digging and tunneling war. Even during the Cold War the pace of digging and tunneling was much slower. While there was underground construction, it was nowhere near the depths that it has reached today and it wasn't being done by as many nations. In 2005 Seymour Hersh, a Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist stated that the US was conducting covert operations in Iran. He said that we had an agreement with Pakistan to look the other way in their nuclear weapons development if they would help neutralize Iran's nuclear plans. He also said that we were considering a first strike with a nuclear bunker buster to destroy Iran's underground uranium enrichment facilities.

We have found that the use of a missile as a bunker buster is more desirable, because the rocket motor provides additional thrust allowing the armament to penetrate deeper and some of these weapons don't have exploding warheads, they use the kinetic energy of the impact. As hard as it is to believe, tests have shown that theoretically a rocket can penetrate 100 to 150 feet of hardened concrete. When I first read this I found it hard to believe, but when I saw how it was done, I was amazed. The rocket had to achieve a certain speed during the penetration and that speed is at least 4000 feet per second. At this speed the concrete liquefies allowing the vehicle to achieve these great depths. This is one of the reasons that the underground bases are sometimes being built miles below the surface.

In 1995 Phil Schneider an engineer and whistle blower gave a lecture just before he was murdered by strangulation with piano wire. He stated that at the time there were 129 deep underground bases in the United States. This was only a year after we purchased the boring machines that were used to build the Chunnel, the tunnel that connects France and England. Since then it is said that the US government owns more boring machines than any other country and some of them are even nuclear powered. Why would we have all of these machines unless we were using them? Schneider went on to say that even before World War II, we started building these deep underground bases and had continued to do this day and night. There is talk that the entire United States is covered with underground tunnels and bases and that some tunnels go under the ocean and connect to bases in places like Great Britain and maybe other friendly countries. There are also tunnels that connect to the oceans so submarines and perhaps ships can sail under the country into any state. Schneider said that he had helped work on these bases.

While many countries are involved in this digging war it seems that the United States and Russia are probably ahead of the rest, but Russia may be a poor second.
