Well here we are, in the month of October, where has this year gone? I think that one of the things that some people will remember this year for is the slowing down of ufo sightings. I can't explain it, but there seems to be a world wide trend of less sightings. Could it be that less experimental aircraft are in the air or is it that less extraterrestrial vehicles are coming to explore the Earth? I guess the answer would depend on what your beliefs currently are. Will there be a time when there are no more sightings? I don't believe that this could ever happen because there are enough things in the atmosphere that will attract attention even if there were no true ufo sightings.

Our favorite foreign source of ufo news seems to always come up with articles. This time they are talking about traveling through space and time without spaceships. They go on to say that there is one type of alien race that is very advanced and it is classified as type 4. Supposedly this type 4 alien has gotten beyond the point were he, or she, requires a space ship to travel. According to them, space ships are left to be used by types 1, II and III. Oh those backward beings! They say that since they can not only travel through space but also through time, they can arrive at a point anywhere, at the same time that they have left where they were or even before. I think that is great, just think you could hang out all day and then go to work and still get there at 9:00 in the morning. It would be interesting to know where the authors of this article got their information, could they have gotten it from someone in the future?

The editors didn't stop with type 4 aliens, they go on in another article about trying to reverse engineer the travel mechanism. Doesn't this mean that we would have to have one to do that? Not only that, but if these aliens were that far ahead of us, how could we ever reverse engineer anything? It seems to me this would be the equivalent of a cave man trying to reverse engineer a nuclear power plant. Supposedly zero point energy is being used in some fashion to power their devices. Zero point energy is the hottest phrase in energy science right now, so why shouldn't the paper throw it around? It would be more impressive if they came up with something that none of us have heard about yet.

About three months ago a lady was sitting in her back yard with her dog. There is certainly nothing unusual about that, but what is unusual is what she saw above her head in the sky. An object shaped like a boomerang but a boomerang that was upside down, was slowly flying over her head. The object was completely silent. The sighting was in Canada and the lady who saw the object was creeped out by it's silence. This boomerang shape is becoming quite common in sightings but this is the first one that I saw that indicated that it was flying upside down. There have been a good many sightings of ufos in Canada even by the pilot of the plane carrying the prime minister in 2004.

A gentlemen in England was looking at the moon through binoculars when he spotted a ufo. He described it as a gray light and said he first thought it was a satellite in orbit around the Earth but then it flew away. The problem I have with this sighting is that if the man only used binoculars, how could he see satellites in orbit? I have never tried to see a satellite with binoculars but I would think that most either aren't powerful enough for this or if you have those really big jobs that look like two telescopes joined together, than you must have them mounted or you could never hold them steady. Since it was stated that he was just looking out his bedroom window with them, I would have to assume that they were the ordinary type, you know, something like 6 or 8 X 35 or 50 mm.

A dimming orange object was observed in England by a man and his wife. He said that it traveled across the sky. Perplexed by this sighting he looked for other witnesses, but could find none. The air force was contacted but stated that they had nothing on radar that night. This must be very frustrating. Not only did no one else see it, but I bet a lot of people looked at him strangely when he asked about it.

More British sightings were made when colored floating lights traveled across the sky of Hainault. Witnesses said that the lights were very clear and you could see that they were perfect circles. One person stated that the lights started out being white then became red. They also said that the lights then danced all over the sky. These lights were seen by many people.

It is beginning to look like most of the ufo sightings we are discussing are in the UK. Kind of strange when you think about it since the UK is so small as compared to some other countries.

A retired special constable reported seeing a ufo 30 years ago after she read that a ufo had been seen hovering over a hotel in Binfield. She stated that she saw it out of her window late at night. She was up because she suffers from insomnia. She described it as being extremely bright and far away. She said that as she watched it, it came closer and closer until it was very close and right outside her window. It remained a little while and then it turned away. She said that she tried to tell people about it but they would just make fun of her so she decided not to talk about it anymore.

Two huge orange balls were sighted in the night sky. Britains in Trusthorpe had previously been told a couple of weeks before that a similar sighting was caused by the afterburners of British jets, but this time it was acknowledged by the military that none were in the area. An RAF spokesman stated, "We don't think there were any jets in the sky at the time. It's very unusual."

Two U.S. B1 bombers were followed by a huge saucer shaped craft. The bombers turned to try and intercept it, but it climbed away. There is also a report of ufos being chased by a U.S. plane. It is said that they dove into the ocean.

Unusual 1970s sighting in Canada. This one was really strange. I am trying to think how to describe it. It looked like a spike with a set of wings about 4/5 the way up the spike and these wings were swept back and each came to a sharp point. Directly in front of the wings was another set that were coming from the front of the vehicle. These wings were about half the size of the first.

A former Canadian cabinet minister is taking up the cause of ufos. Mr. Paul Helyer will have spoken at a UFO conference by the time you read this. His talk should be very interesting, I would have liked to hear this one. It is said that he believes that ufos are extraterrestrial and that at least the U.S. is covering the fact up as may be other governments. Unfortunately he is playing the Roswell card again. It is suggested that he will say that the U.S. has reengineered wrecked ships from there. The thing I really have against Roswell is that almost all the people involved are dead and I believe it is too late to prove anything in that matter, especially since one of the main witnesses was found to be untruthful. The organizer of this event is a retired school principal and ufo researcher Mr. Victor Viggiani. Articles seem to indicate that Mr. Viggiani feels that there is a government cover up as pertains to ufos and one of the biggest events in human history is being kept from us. Well you may be right Mr. Viggiani, more power to you.
