Here I am with the first UFO update of the new year. It is hard to believe how fast that last year went.

United States:

The story going around the Internet is that NASA now has a photo showing a glowing object that is said to be one of the three spaceships heading this way,has been debunked. The “glowing ship” was said to have been due to a defect on a glass plate that was used as a negative. Is this true? Who knows.

SETI supposedly has announced that, “Three giant spaceships are heading towards Earth. The largest one of them is 200 miles wide. Two others are slightly smaller. At present, the objects are just moving past Jupiter.  Judging by their speed, they should be on Earth by early 2011," This announcement has been appearing all over the Internet. It would be nice if I could confirm this announcement.

Photos taken by the Mars Rover are said to have photographed a base on Mars. The photos were taken with a fisheye lens and truthfully they could be showing a base or a rock that has a rectangular shape.

There is a lot of talk about an attack on Earth by aliens this year. I just wish these people would give it a rest. It is true that you can say anything on the Internet, but saying things without proof never got anyone anywhere. Until those saying we are going to be attacked can show proof of this, I for one will not be paying much attention to their ramblings.

There is talk going on around the Internet that President Obama is going to make an announcement soon concerning UFOs. It is being said that government insiders have leaked this fact to some news organizations. I wouldn't hold my breath.

The Disclosure Project has announced that they have been told by SETI scientists that they have indeed received signals from intelligent beings and now these signals are being jammed by the military.

Great Britain:
A document has just been released that shows that a major military operation was taking place when the Berwyn Mountains UFO incident took place on January 23, 1974. At the time witnesses reported hearing a loud bang, saw a very bright light in the sky and felt the earth tremble. The military operation that was taking place has been revealed as Operation Photoflash. Just the name alone would seem to eliminate the Berwyn incident from being a UFO incident. The document that was released was from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. The MCA document stated, “During the late afternoon and early evening of 23rd January 1974 there was an exercise from Jerby Range on the Isle of Man. The exercise was called ‘Photoflash’ and coastguards were advised to expect at least 10 aircraft taking part and at least 80 flashes around the Liverpool Bay area and the North Wales coastline.”

Argentina:

Argentina has announced that it is going to have its military investigate UFO sightings where UFO appear in its airspace. A commission has been created just for this purpose. It is called the Commission for the Investigation of Airspace Phenomenon, all pilots both military and civilian are being urged to report all UFO sightings.

New Zealand:

New Zealand has released over 2,000 pages of formerly classified UFO sightings. You would think that this alone would be enough UFO news from that tiny country, but just a few days after their release, three UFOs were spotted over Napier, Taranaki and Christchurch. They were described as orange and red lights. "I just thought it was a bright orange light in the sky, and then it started moving towards us." Flashing lights were also seen on the objects. "I have never seen anything like this in my life. It was definitely not a plane, not a meteor and not stars." Another witness stated, "There was absolutely no sound and they were flying too slow to be an aircraft. I would really like to know what they were."

A family in Christchurch has observed what it believes to be a convoy of UFOs. Ten UFOs were seen in the sky above their home which neighbors also saw. The sighting took place in December, 2010

Russian Federation:

A former NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) officer named Stanley A. Fulman gave a statement on his deathbed that more frequent UFO appearances would take place in 2011, starting with a major wave over Moscow in January 2011. A Russian news agency is now asking the question, “are the sightings over Russia the beginning of this wave?

On December 26, 2010, UFOs were seen over the Republic of Kalmykia, Hundreds of witnesses saw UFOs on several occasions over the city of Elista. They were said to look like two glowing circles and rotated around each other. This is the same province where the governor claimed that he has been abducted by aliens, but later got to know them on a personal basis.

Supposedly there is a report out that was prepared by the Russian Space Forces for the president that states that WikiLeaks is going to release secret documents that state the the U.S. had been in a war since 2004 and this war is against UFOs that have a base somewhere near Antarctica in the Southern Ocean. It is said that when a fleet of UFOs came out of the water and headed toward Mexico, the U.S. went on its highest war footing alert. The UFOs were said to be very near the U.S. border, but went back to their base without crossing it. The report supposedly goes on to explain that the U.S. became very alarmed with hundreds of UFOs appeared over Mexico in 1991 during an eclipse. The report is said to state further that huge fleets of UFOs continue to emerge from their underwater bases in this area. So many came out at once that a ship in the area was nearly capsized from the wake and that another was not so lucky and sunk killing 22 of its 42 person crew. .

Australia:

A man in Darwin went outside to have a smoke and drink a glass of beer. It was about 9:30 pm and about the third week of December 2010. He saw a large black flying triangle in the sky. The triangle had lights on the side. "I thought it was a plane, but all it made was humming sounds" .
