There are many stories of people being abducted by aliens, but there are nowhere as many stories of aliens being captured by us, although some do exist. I knew of a few of these stories before I began this article but I decided to see how much I could find out about captured aliens. Travel with me through the twists and turns of the internet while I explore the premise of captured aliens.

I guess a good place to start is Roswell, New Mexico and the famous crash of 1947. We all know about the famous crash and the claims of alien bodies, but it was said that one alien survived. Supposedly we kept it under lock and key and eventually it died. There are many stories regarding this alien and some say it had the ability to insert thoughts into human minds. Another story talks about a extraterrestrial craft that made an emergency landing on the Nimitz, a U.S. carrier at sea. The occupants of the ufo were said to have offered no resistance. At least one photograph was taken but was never released. The story goes on further to state that a CIA agent has tried for years to get the government to release the aliens, stating that they are harmless. They are said to be about four feet high. Some people are worried that if we don't release these aliens a rescue party may be sent to help them and take revenge on us. With this talk of captured aliens we also have talk of working with aliens. Some say that we have allowed the aliens to have a base under Area 51 and several other Air Force Bases. The story goes on to say that we allowed these aliens to abduct a certain amount of people from a list and that the aliens were not complying with the list and abducting more than allowed. This forced us to attack them and we were severely beaten.

The U.S. is not the only place where aliens are said to have been captured. It is said that the Russians were holding three aliens in a dungeon in 1998, in a high security prison, somewhere on the Taymyr Peninsula. The story goes that an alien ship crashed in Siberia. On the ship were a crew of twelve. Nine were killed and three injured. Of the three aliens, one was believed to be a child with its mother. It is not known if the aliens are still alive. It was said that some sort of deal with the alien government was being brokered for their release.

It is said that a ufo crashed in Iraq several years ago. As a matter of fact, a December 16, 1998 CNN had a video clip of Baghdad and it clearly showed a ufo hovering over the city. It is not known whether there were any survivors but it is said that the real reason for invading Iraq was that the U.S. was scared the Iraq might be able to reverse engineer technology from the ufo and the U.S. wanted to prevent this. The craft was alleged to have crashed during the first
Gulf War.

Another alien that was said to have been captured was caught in Mafraq, Jordan on July 25, 1999. This creature seemed to be more cat like that anything else seen previously. My personal thoughts on this one are that some previously unknown species of animal was captured.

On January 20, 1996 in Varginha, in Minas Gerais, Brazil an alien was spotted. The creature was spotted squatting near the wall of a garage. In the early morning of the same day a ufo had been spotted over the town. The alien is said to have been brought to the army by four men from the Fire Brigade who had captured it. Supposedly the alien was put into a box and shipped to the town of Tres Coracoes. The next day the creature was examined in the Regional Hospital. From there the alien was put in a truck that was part of a convoy and went to Campinas in Sao Paulo state. Supposedly the final destination of the alien was the U.S.

There is a contention that Star Wars was never meant as a defense against the Soviets but was meant as a defense against ufos.

Are there really aliens being held by various governments all over the world? I guess no one can answer this question but if we go by the amount of ufo sightings then there must be some aliens. The amount of sightings are so enormous that even if there was a tiny percentage of crashes, the crashes would add up to quite a few. Of these crashes we would have to admit that not all crashes would be fatal. If only 25% of all crashes were non fatal to some beings then there would have to be some survivors. From the reports it seems that we can not settle on the crew size of a ufo. Sometimes it is reported as 2 or 3 and at other times it is said to be 12 or more. This could be accounted for by the diversely of craft. And what about passengers? Some descriptions tell of huge craft with many people aboard. Who knows if one of these have crashed? Then there are the explorers. Are there aliens on earth that are exploring the planet who have gotten caught?

Many think that we owe a lot of our technology to captured ufos and aliens. I am afraid that I am NOT one of them. We have had much advancement in technology in the last 50 years. But technology feeds on technology, so the breakthroughs we have made are not surprising to me. As we get more advanced, the more advanced will be the breakthroughs. If, all of a sudden, we build a time machine or a spaceship that can travel through the galaxy than I would say it could be from alien technology, but so far we have had nothing that startling although we have have had some fantastic breakthroughs. If the advances keep coming at the pace that they are coming at now, then the next 100 years should really be something to behold. Perhaps by then we will have that time machine or spaceship I mentioned, and if we do, it won't be because of alien technology but human brain power.
