The Paradigm research group has recently announced a renewed international effort that is aimed at convincing President Barack Obama to release UFO information and facts about an extraterrestrial presence that is engaging the human race. "Since June 1, 2009, letters, faxes and emails from around the world have been sent to the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) insisting the reporters in the White House press corps begin asking politically related UFO/ET questions and receive appropriate answers." Their press release mentions the fact that many thousands of letters, faxes and e-mails, already been sent to the president for more than a year demanding an end to UFO secrecy. What bothers this group the most is that they claim that none of these messages have been acknowledged. They want to know the answer to a burning question and that is why France, Denmark, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom and other countries can release their UFO data and we can't?

A UFO sighting took place on January 7, 2010, at about 11:15 in the morning. The signing was of a UFO following an airplane in the morning sky. A bright light had appeared in the sky that was about one quarter of the size of the sun and about one quarter of its brightness. It appeared between two airplanes. It flew toward one point for about 2 seconds. As it headed toward one of the planes it disappeared. It then appeared near a tree-lined area for about 5 seconds, then it flew straight up into the sky. The sighting took place at Hudson, Massachusetts.

It certainly seems that UFOs, come in just about every size and shape. A square UFO was sighted recently over North Carolina. The sighting took place on December 30, 2009. The witness described the craft as being about 25 feet square and about 5 feet tall, and traveling just about 50 to 60 feet off the ground and being only 30 yards away when they saw it. The speed was estimated to be an extremely slow 30 mph. The sighting took place in Johnson County and there were two witnesses to the event. The craft was described as being very dark and it was very hard to see in the evening light. At first the witnesses wondered why an airplane would be flying so low? They said there had been no lights visible at first, then dim lights were noticed and one was definitely red the other might've been a dim green, but the witnesses are not sure. The witnesses were in a car and rolled down their windows to see if they could hear anything, but the craft was silent. It disappeared just above the treetops.

One UFO sighting took place in Florida on January 7, 2010. As I said above UFOs do come in all shapes and sizes and this one was particularly interesting for its shape was a star shape and it was brightly lit. Three small planes were in the area and the UFO came right up in between them, according to the witness. The witness feels that the pilots could not miss seeing the UFO. The UFO began to fly east and the further it went, the faster it went, until it dimmed out. The witness claims that he has watched the skies for weeks and that he has seen quite a few UFOs and many of them have been down close to the rooftops. No time reference was given.

Another UFO sighting took place in Nevada on January 2, 2010. Four people were in an automobile that was traveling eastbound on I-80. The automobile was just outside the town of Mustang, when the passengers noticed a steady stream of red lights that traveled right in front of the vehicle. At first it looked to them to be taillights, but they knew it couldn't be because people don't travel in that direction on this road. They then realize that this object was flying and it was flying very fast. The lights disappeared, but then it happened again with the lights traveling in the same direction. The difference was the witnesses could now see the object very clearly and it was a UFO. It seems that the lights on the craft were working in a search pattern and it had a number of red glowing lights. No time reference was given.

Another UFO sighting was made on December 31, 2009 in Tennessee. A family was watching a fireworks display when they noticed what they thought was an airplane coming from the east at incredible speeds. As it got closer it stopped on a dime and hovered in the air, about a mile from the house. The object was just shaped lights all going around. They object looked like something that was on fire. It hovered for a few seconds and shot to the north and stopped on a dime and hovered again. After about 5 seconds it shot off at great speed and vanished. About 3 seconds went by and then another craft came along and did the exact same thing and then vanished after another 3 seconds. The same thing happened all over again. No time reference was given, but this was obviously a night sighting.

For some strange reason it seems that New Year's Eve and New Year's Day have been very busy days for UFO sightings. Some people in San Diego California were attending a New Year's Eve party and when 2009 became 2010 noticed a UFO in the sky above them. The UFO appeared shortly after midnight. One witness called in to San Diego 6, the local news network and said he saw three red objects in the sky. Another witness stated,"This is going to sound crazy, but I didn't know who else to call. There's a UFO we've been watching hover in the sky. My young son is going out of his mind," Another man said. "The whole family is looking at this thing. We've never seen anything like it." Calls into the station describe the object as being a triangle of red lights that were moving together and starting to blink out. The station said that the descriptions fit a series of stories that they covered last year that turned out to be Chinese sky lanterns. Whether these are Chinese sky lanterns, or whether UFOs, that is the question? It does seem suspicious that many of these sightings are taking place at New Year's Eve parties, doesn't it?

Great Britain:

Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of Great Britain has really put his foot in the bucket. He didn't seem to have any problems allowing Gary McKinnon, the famous UFO hacker who is said to have autism, to be extradited to the United States for trial and yet he tried to halt the extradition of a British citizen convicted of drug smuggling in China. As you probably remember, Gary McKinnon is the hacker that was able to get into some restricted military sites in the United States and claims to have discovered that the United States has a space fleet and is in contact with UFOs. The mother of Gary McKinnon, has gone on record calling Brown a hypocrite.

The Rest Of The world:

A UFO was seen in Bulgaria by hundreds of people who were attending a New Year's Eve party in Sofia in the very beginning of 2010. The object was shaped like a diamond and moved erratically across the sky and then disappeared, but one witness even managed to film the UFO. The national space agency of Bulgaria recently made headlines when it said that well-meaning aliens are contacting us, communicating with humans by a series of crop circles. When you consider the size of this country, they seem to be getting a disproportionate amount of UFO sightings.

A mysterious red light appeared in the sky over Dundalk, in Ireland, in early morning on 6 January 2010. A family was leaving their house when they noticed the object moving erratically in the sky. One family member said "it was freaky. My mother came running down from the hall shouting at us to get out into the street, we did not know what was wrong. I thought there might have been an accident, so we went to the street and it was this medium-sized red light, but was flying really low in the sky." It was described by one witness as looking like a plane on fire, or something like that, but then it began to ascend and went higher and higher until it disappeared.

Germany was the site of a UFO sighting during a New Year's Eve celebration. The sighting took place over the city of Mulheim. Many witnesses saw the objects and one witness managed to get footage of the UFOs. The video shows UFOs over the city. The witness said that all the video at the beginning of the tape should be ignored, since it has nothing to do with the UFO sighting. He just did not know how to edited it out.
