A man named Jeff Peckman has gathered enough signatures to get something very unusual on the ballet in Denver, Colorado. . That is a plan for an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. You may remember him from last year when he showed a video of a supposed alien that he said was taken in 2003 by Stan Romanek. The purpose of the commission would be, "harmonious, peaceful, mutually respectful and beneficial coexistence". This would be between earthlings in Denver and said extraterrestrials. This would be done through developing protocols for “diplomatic contact". If the voters accept this, a commission of seven members would be formed. One of the commission's members would be an expert in taking testimony from people who have had contact with aliens, or as it was described, close personal encounters. Peckman said that he only saw a UFO once and that was the day that Michael Jackson died. Is he stating that there is some sort of connection between the two events? I will let you decide. By the way, he was supposed to release the video last year but didn't.
Where do you think would be the last place that a UFO sighting would take place? I don't know about you, but I think that I would have to say New York City. I really shouldn't feel that way, there is no scientific reason for it and the amount of people there might account for one happening, but it just seems impractical. While you walk the city, much of the sky is blocked by high buildings and such. Having said this, a UFO sighting took place in New York City on December 2, 2009 in downtown New York City. One witness said that he was sitting at his desk and noticed an unusual sight out of his window, it looked like a very, very bright star. He got his camera and took a video of it. He states that the video shows the object fading out and disappearing.
A school IT administrator had to resign. He might have thought that he was doing a good thing when he installed the SETI screen saver on each machine. The screen saver allows SETI to use a computer with the screen saver on it as an information processor when the machine is idle. The school district did not see things his way and felt that he had performed unauthorized use of their machines and wasted resources. The district stated that this could have cost them as much as 1.6 million dollars over nine years. The next thing that is going to happen to this guy is that he is expected to face criminal charges. Come on folks, isn't this a little harsh, he has already lost his job?
A new book has been published that speaks to UFO encounters in Appalachia. It is entitled APPALACHIAN CASE STUDY: UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters And Unexplained Phenomena VOL. 2 by Kyle Lovern. I think that most of us never really think much about UFO sightings in Appalachia, never mind encounters. Apparently, according to the author, there seems to be many of them. I read one review of the book and the reviewer thought that the book was extremely interesting and stated the fact that the author was a prize winning journalist. The chapters of the book are said to be divided up into individual incidents and most of the cases cited have multiple witnesses. One facinating case that was cited was of a UFO that was seen in a field where a woman was heard screaming. Police were dispatched, but neither the UFO or woman were ever found.
Here is an interesting video from YouTube that might show a plane being hijacked by a UFO.
Plane Hijacking by UFO?
This video has become very popular on the Internet lately. Supposedly it was taken In Tucson Arizona on August 9, 2009. Many people saw it happen.
United Kingdom:
I am sorry to see that the UK is closing down its UFO hotline. The Ministry of Defence stated that in fifty years, the hotline has never shown that there are aliens or that UFOs pose a threat to the national defense. Their exact words were, "no defense value in investigating UFO reports". They also claim that they want to use the money for Afghanistan. Wait a second, how much are we talking about? The entire sum that funds the UFO hotline is only 44,000 pounds, or about $77,000. Well that should pay for about one more soldier and his equipment. What is the real reason for doing away with the hotline? Could it be that they don't want to have to supply any more contrived answers to some of the sighting that can only be explained by extraterrestrial machines?
Worldwide:
China:
A scientific forum was held in China and during the forum details of a UFO encounter by a a pilot in a commercial airliner came out. The encounter took place on March 18, 2009 and the pilot was a highly experienced commercial airline pilot who was flying a small commercial plane at the time. The pilot reported that he witnessed the UFO for at least 9 minutes. When he first saw it, it looked like a glowing fireball, but was displaying extraordinary flight characteristics. The object was said to change position quickly. He reported that it then descended quickly and its color changed from red to black and then became two vehicles, one was a sphere and the other a rectangle. They flew level for a short time then climbed out of view. One Chinese astronomer thinks that the pilot has misidentified two planes, but the airport tower also reported seeing a UFO, which would seem to backup the pilot's account.
Brazil:
The Institute of Hispanic Ufology has been around for about 10 years and is currently servicing over a dozen Spanish countries. They publish Inexplicata. On their blog, they are showing a photo of a UFO that was seen over Bahia, Brazil, in the early part of October of 2009. The story about the photo is strange. What had happened was that three people were in a car on the road to Bahia. They stopped the car so that one of them could take a photo of the road. The camera kept shutting off and finally they gave up and returned home. When the person with the camera looked at it, she was startled by the fact that a UFO had been captured. No one had seen one when they stopped the car. If the camera had turned off, how did the image get into the memory? This is very strange indeed.:
The Rest Of South America:
South America seems to have become the current target for UFO flyovers. This is beginning to panic some people who live there, at least that is what some reports are saying. Waves of UFOs are being reported by many different witnesses. The UFOs do not always have the same configurations either. Some are cigar shaped while others are triangles and saucer shaped. On November 27, 2009, the city of Salta, Argentina, was plunged into darkness at 2 a.m. in the morning. Phones even stopped working and water stopped flowing through taps. An intense heat engulfed the city. Right after that a huge UFO was seen hovering over the city. It had lights all around it. Witnesses claim that as soon as the ship flew over the power plant, the transmission of electricity from the plant stopped. This caused a massive investigation by the government. Hundreds of witnesses saw UFOs traveling across the sky in Lima, Peru. It has been estimated that at least 70 craft were observed. The town of Lquique, Chile, had a cylindrical object above it in the sky this month and again dozens of people saw it. It was glowing and multicolored. In another area thousands of pilgrims went to an area where a prior vision of the Virgin Mary took place, only to find a UFO in the sky above it. It was videoed and the video was given to investiagors, but nothing since has been heard about it.
Here is a video of people in Lima, Peru looking at UFOs:
