UFO Update 3 November 2009

As most of us know by now, a homemade balloon caused quite a stir when people thought that it took off with a small boy inside. It turned out that he wasn't inside the balloon. There is another side to the story, some people thought that the balloon was a UFO. I guess it was purposely built to look like one.

On October 10, 2009, a UFO was spotted over Providence, Rhode Island. It was 5 am in the morning when a night worker noticed something strange in the sky. He described it as an “Orb of Light”. The witness stated that it moved in a similar fashion to a balloon, but was not a balloon. He stated that it was moving from north to south in a straight line. It was an overcast morning and it seemed to the witness that the object was shining through the clouds.

Another sighting took place in Pennsylvania when a couple of witnesses stated that on October 12, 2009 they heard a strange whirring sound and when they looked out the window they saw a bright orange colored disc shaped object and it was unlike anything that they had ever seen before. This object was also heading south and flying low. It finally disappeared behind some trees.

A very strange sighting took place on October 7, 2009 when a witness in Michigan noticed an object that was pink in color and shaped like a barrel that was stretched out. The sighting took place at about 3 pm. He stated that the object had green and red lights on the bottom. He also said that the top of the object looked like it had a gray metal disc on top.

On October 11, 2009, a man went to pick up the Sunday papers for delivery and happened to look up in the sky. He saw a white light and then noticed that it was actually lights, “spacing a wide dark silver rectangle shaped object”. He followed the object until the brightness of the moon made it impossible to see. He looked around again and this time saw 4 white orbs flying in a triangle formation. It took about 7 seconds for the formation to disappear.

A sighting took place on October 10, 2009 in Florida. A man stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. Again I say that smoking has caused more UFO sightings than anything else since everyone now has to go outside to smoke. The witness saw a dark gray boomerang wing shape. It made no sound and was slowly drifting across the sky. He said that he watched it for about 1 minute. He could not tell how high it was flying, but gave an estimate of its size anyway. He said he believed that it was between 100 to 200 feet wide. (editor's note: there is no way to accurately judge the size of an object without knowing the altitude and even then it is almost impossible for a lay person.)

A revealing news article has added new facts to the famous crop circle that was created near Stonehenge. This crop circle is said to be one of the most complex ever created. There had been talk about UFOs being seen in the area, but now it is being said that there were witnesses sitting in cars that actually saw a formation of UFO arrive at the field and create the design. It is said that they stood there in amazement for over 20 minutes while the crop circle was created. The crop circle was created in 1996 and is known as the Julia Set. A cloud shaped like a halo was seen over Moscow. Many attributed this to UFOs, but here is what scientists had to say about it, "It’s a purely optical effect, even if a spectacular one. You can see really strange things if you watch the clouds regularly. Several air fronts have passed Moscow recently, including an inflow of cold air from the Arctic, and they combined to produce such a phenomenon.” While being incredibly strange, it seems that the cloud is nothing more than a cloud.
