Aliens And Technology

Isn't technology wonderful? Our technology is advancing at a breakneck pace. Are we really so smart that we are able to increase the rate of our technical grown at such a pace, or is there something, or others involved? Some people say that the more we advance, the more we discover, which fires the pace of new advancement. They point to the fact that computer efficiency is doubling about every 18 months or less. It is true that the pace of technological advancement is incredible and it seems that it can only progress faster. The areas where this doesn't seem to be happening are usually the areas where progress seems to be held back by the profit motive. What I mean is companies do not want to make their current products obsolete, until they drain every possible dollar out of them. Not everyone agrees that we are responsible for many of our incredible inventions and techniques.

These people point to the fact that we are still using rockets to get into space which is a very old technology, even though we are advancing in many other areas very rapidly. They claim that a lot of our advancement is due to alien influence and they back this up by saying that one area that they have not contributed in is space travel, because they don't want us out there with them. I would have to say that if this was true, I certainly couldn't blame the aliens. Who would want beings out there that would fight over everything? They also claim that this trait is currently being bred out of us and hybrids are being born that do not have this aggressive trait or gene, or whatever. This is sort of a leap I know, but let's take a look at some of the so called evidence for alien influence that some people are basing all this on and then we can all come to our own conclusions.

The case for the existence of aliens from space:

DNA research was conducted on a person who claimed to have been abducted by aliens from Australia. This guy said that he was asleep, but then was woken up by two beings at the foot of his bed. Both seemed to be female, pretty, but not human. He claims that the females assaulted him sexually and then left and he was helpless to do anything about it. All this would have been laughable, except for one fact that can not be explained. The fact was that the guy found two strands of white blond hair on his bed and the hair was sent in for a forensic DNA analysis by investigators. What the test revealed was incredible, the hair was almost human, but impossible to be human. This case is believed to be a linchpin that holds the abduction story together. What really makes this story unusual, besides the fact of the sexual assault, is the fact that it took place in the guy's bedroom and not in a ship. Is there any other way to explain the DNA analysis? It doesn't look like there is.

It is turning out that various strange implants are being found in people and most of these people have no idea how they got there. Dr. Roger Leir and his team have been extracting these devices for years now. He has found that they are not rejected by the body, which is far beyond any technology that we currently have. He has also found that they put out a signal, like a tracking device. Scariest of all, when you go to remove them, they move out of the way as if trying to avoid the surgeon's scalpel. We know that we have nothing like this on earth, so where did these things come from? Dr. Leir believes that they are alien implants, but has not commented on their purpose. He believes that we should study them and try and learn why they are not rejected by our bodies, because this technology could be life saving if used for transplants, or implanting devices.

One of the first devices that many claim were designed by aliens was the SR-71 plane, or Blackbird as it became known. It was so far more advanced than anything else in the sky that it is almost unbelievable that it could have been built without alien help, at least that is what some are saying. It was constructed out of materials that were non existent before the plane was built. Officially we were told that the plane was designed without knowing how to develop these new materials and that they were developed as the plane was being built. The people that object to this scenario state that who would built a billion dollar plane without knowing if they could ever create materials that would allow it to reach its potential? There are quite a few people that buy into this argument. The second thing about the plane is the way it looks. It is so more advanced than anything of its day that it can easily be mistaken for an alien ship of some kind. On top of all that the performance was so far ahead of any other planes' capabilities that some felt that it could not have been built with the current technology.

It is being said that some of the devices that we use today were reverse engineered from alien devices that were either found in crashed UFOs or given to us by so called friendly aliens. Supposedly this started in the 1940s and has turned into a tsunami of technological advancements. These people believe that the governments of the world, specifically the US government, have been leaking out technological breakthroughs into the private sector and that they are really from alien technology. There are many stories that tell of us accepting technology from aliens in return for letting them abduct and examine different members of our society. Some say that the ultimate alien technology was the atom bomb. They cite the fact that the number of sightings of UFOs has had a significant increase since that first detonation and this is because the aliens leaked out just enough info to allow us to build that device, but may not have expected us to be able to advance to a hydrogen device in such a short period of time.

So how do the people that believe that some devices have an alien origin believe that data on how to make a device was transmitted? One way was stated above, the government leaked out some important info. The second way was that aliens were able to contact scientists and engineers in their sleep without waking them and make suggestions to them that influenced what they were creating. This method was supposedly ideal, because it left no trace. The scientists and engineers that were influenced never remembered what happened. These people even believe that William Shockley was influenced this way when he invented the transistor, which is the basis for all our electronics, of course this doesn't explain how Julius Edgar Lilienfeld discovered it in 1925 and filed a patent. A second transistor device was patented in 1934 by Dr. Oskar Heil. Could they all have been influenced by aliens?

In Summary:

Can I say that we have a case to prove that aliens have influenced our technology, either directly or indirectly? I guess that I would have to say no. There is no doubt that technology is improving at an ever increasing rate, but does that mean it is being helped along? As I said in the beginning of this article, the more we find out, the more it leads to other new discoveries and so on. If we ever find out how to travel faster than light, that might lead to faster communications across space, faster computing and so on. Many things we have today are hard to explain, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they came from aliens. That also doesn't mean that alien technology couldn't have been used. The problem with saying that alien technology was used, is that aliens are unknown to the general public and are mere speculation, aside form a few stories about personal experiences. On the other hand many reputable people have sighted UFOs and reported this, but others say that UFOs are vehicles that were made here on Earth by some advanced weapons program.

I guess it is up to each one of us as individuals to make up our own minds on this subject, using whatever proof we can find.
