I have talked about this subject before, but its one that seems to light up the imaginations of some people. Even some scientists do not deny that it just might be possible. I am talking about the Earth either being hollow or having large hollow areas inside of it. That is one of the things that some people believe. Another school of thought says that aliens might be living inside the hollow earth and they even go so far as to state that these aliens may have lived on the Earth's surface with us and moved inside the Earth, because they were tired of the constant wars and fighting. I know that this is a lot to swallow, but like other theories it is out there and when you really think about it, who is to say that it is not possible? It is said that the first person to state that he saw a city inside the Earth was Richard Shaver in 1946. Shaver was known as a writer and scientist. He actually claimed that not only had he managed to get inside the Earth and see the city down there, but that he lived for weeks with an ancient race that was so old, it had settled inside the Earth, long before humans ever appeared on the surface of the planet. When the story was published, you would have thought that this was the end of it. Not so, an amazing thing happened after that. It is said that hundreds of readers responded saying that they too had visited underground cities and saw technology that was light years ahead of our own. But was Shaver really the first to see an underground city and did he really see one at all? I don't think that his claim can be proved or disproved, like so many other claims of odd things being seen. Unfortunately, unless there are a lot of people present and there usually aren't, these things just get laughed at and filed away. The idea of a hollow Earth is really much older than many suspect. Even the ancients believed in it and placed Hades, Svartalfheim, Sheol and Hell there. It seems that the area that was supposed to be hollow was an area where people were tortured for their sins after they died, or a place that housed evil. Examples of this is Svartalfheim, the Norse underground where the Black Elves lived, or Sheol, the place where the Hebrew dead lived. I only state these facts to show that people had been thinking about what was inside the Earth for thousands of years. In1838 an expedition was launched by the U.S. Navy. It consisted of a fleet of ships that sailed around the Pacific Ocean. Some say the purpose was to find a way into the Earth, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence for this idea. The expedition sailed from 1838 to 1842. Its log books were lost, which probably led some people to believe that it was on a secret mission. Indeed the loss of the books was strange, especially since there were six ships in the fleet. The stated purpose of the expedition was to survey the Pacific Ocean and the land masses in it. The expedition became known as the Wilkes Expedition. It turned out that the Nazis were very interested in finding secret underground cities. Maybe they thought that they could convince the inhabitants, who some believed might be more advanced than us, to join with them in world domination, or at least assist them in developing more advanced weapons. Some still think today that the reasons that the Germans had such advanced weapons in World War II was because aliens helped develop them. The Nazis had launched expeditions to different places before the war, in their paranormal search and one of the things that they wanted to find was a way into the Earth. There is a story that states that an Anthropologist named James McKenna was exploring a cave. It goes on to mention offhandedly that he worked for the CIA. Since I don't know when this was supposedly to have taken place, I can not say if the CIA was even around yet, so take this for what it is worth. Supposedly while exploring this Idaho cave, he and the members of his expedition heard screams, human screams coming out from the deepest part of the cave. They had found human skeletons in the cave. They couldn't go any deeper and live, because the smell of brimstone was too strong. That is the way I heard this story. In line with this story is the one where Russians were drilling the deepest well ever and lowered a microphone down the shaft when they hit their mark. When they turned the mike on, they could hear the unbearable human screams of pain taking place miles down inside the earth. There are some people that believe they even know the name of the underground civilization and that it is Agharta and the capital city is Shamballa. This information was supposedly supplied by a Norwegian sailor named Olaf Jansen in his biography. According to him, the ship he was on went through an entrance at the north pole that brought him to the underground city and he lived there for over two years. He went on to say that the people there were over 12 feet tall and that there was a sort of sun that lit the city. He said that the “people” there told him that they moved into the Earth because of what was happening on the surface. They said that atomic energy had been discovered and that there had been a great Lemurian and Atlantean war. They stated that some of the great deserts on Earth were the result of this war. If this is true, are we headed for the same fate again? There are supposedly several entrances to the underground cities. The one that you hear about the most is through Mount Shasta, California, followed by the entrance at the poles. The tiny star theory fits right in with the Hollow Earth theory. That states that many planets, including the Earth, are hollow and have a small star at their center and this supposedly is what supplies the heat to the Earth. In 1906 an author named William Reed published a book called “Phantom of the Poles”. In the book he stated, "I am able to prove my theory that the earth is not only hollow, but suitable in its interior to sustain human life with as little discomfort as on its exterior, and can be made accessible to mankind with one-fourth the outlay of money, time and life that it costs to build the subway in New York City. The number of people who can settle in this new world (if not already occupied) will be billions." A few years later a man named Marshall AB. Gardner wrote a book in which he stated that the Earth was not only hollow, but heated by a small sun. A few years later Admiral Byrd flew over both poles within a couple of years and did not spot the over 1000 mile entrance that Gardner had spoken of. Images have been taken by satellite of the North Pole that do show some sort of circular opening. How far in goes down is anyone's guess. Lastly I would like to comment on the fact that if the Earth is not hollow, that doesn't necessarily mean that there are other planets and bodies that aren't. If we look at the two tiny moons of Mars, we find that scientists think that they seem to be at least partially hollow. Earth's moon makes a strange ringing sound when struck that can last for an hour or more. Could our Moon be hollow? Light has been seen coming out of craters on the moon and out from the planet Venus, indicating that there is some thing inside these bodies that is very bright, or is it just gas of some kind? There are an awful lot of questions to be answered and hopefully one day we will know these answers and be much better off for it. |
