Another UFO update is upon us and again there is too much to report for only one page..

United States:

Late this month it was reported by students that as they were watching, a group of strange red lights appeared in the sky over Pensacola, Florida, at 8:30 pm. The students were all waiting outside their school for their rides, when the lights appeared. A video was made by a student that used his cell phone to record the event. The lights jumped around the sky for several minutes. After that time a group of helicopters appeared and the students stated that they seemed to be searching for the lights. Other witness also saw the lights. One witness who lived on Nine Mile Road stated that they saw the lights from their porch at the same time. The witness described the lights as being very bright glowing red-orange lights. The witness went on to say that this was no helicopter or plane and that the light would last about 4 seconds then fade from tail to the center of the spiral. I believe that the witness meant that the lights after fading would then repeat.

On March 18, 2009 a UFO was seen over Lake Havasu, AZ. It was spotted at 7 pm, was flying about 300 feet high, according to one witness and was the shape of a boomerang. It flew over the area four times. The very strange part of the sighting is that four fighter jets stayed in formation following it, but this didn't seem to bother it at all. Can these things have so little regard for out capabilities? Apparently so. The craft was described as being enormous with clusters of dozens of lights. One witness stated, "we could all make out the triangle/boomerang shape because of the stars being blocked out as it passed them and by the small, very faint reddish glow or light at the tip of the 'wing.'" After the first pass, it came back about 30 minutes later with the jets still following it. Another 30 minutes went by and the UFO came back with the jets following and finally after about another 30 minutes, it made its last pass. A video was taken. One witness stated that at times it went as high as 10,000 feet and was about 300 feet wide.

A bill called the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2009 was sent to the U.S. House of Representatives. The idea is to protect those from being punished when these people work on federally funded projects or in national security positions. Many are hoping that if the bill becomes law, whistleblowers will come forward from agencies like NASA or the Defense Department with new UFO data. I guess that we will have to wait and see what happens.

It turns out that March 19, 2009 was a busy day for UFOs in the United States. Low flying UFOs were seen over Indiana, California and Vermont along with something that looked like a fireball over Utah. In Indiana the object hovered for awhile and the witness rushed to get his camera and got one photo. The object was shaped like a triangle and was seen over Michigan City, Indiana. The California UFO was said to look like an upside-down shiny metal plate by one witness. He watched the object for awhile before it shot away. As for the Vermont UFO, one witness said that it looked like a, "distinct circle of yellow light" and made an "extremely fast trajectory towards the ground." The witness also stated that near the sighting were about a dozen police cars with their lights off. He said that they were from the surrounding towns.

Ute Valley Park is an area where UFOs have been frequently seen flying over. A UFO investigator, Chuck Zukowski, has found two crumbling carvings of heads in the stone in the park. He has no idea how old they are and is attempting to get experts to examine them and give him a report. So far he has not succeeded. Could these heads have something to do with all the UFO sightings over the park?

On March 19, 2009 a shape shifting UFO was seen by nine witnesses over Long Beach, California. A group of sky watchers was out in the backyard of one of their number when they saw something strange in the sky. They saw an object that was not any know aircraft and since their hobby was sky watching, they must have known just about what every aircraft looks like. The object changed direction several times and didn't have the required lights that the FAA states that all aircraft must have, such as the green light on its opposite side. For over 26 minutes the craft went from hovering, to drifting, to 180 degree turns. It is interesting to note that the hovering occurred over the electric company. Could this craft have been refueling? The shape could not be determined visually, but when some photos of it were analyzed, they seemed to indicate that it was a shape shifter.

On March 16, 2008 a witness took photos of a triangular craft. These were daytime photos taken in the skies over South Carolina. Three photos were taken and the object definitely looks like an earthly craft. It was a black triangle that seemed to be covered with the same type of material that was on the SR-71 Blackbird. It sported two stubby tails and the triangle shape seemed to blend into a lifting body, the same type as the Space Shuttle uses, only more advanced. I can't help but believe that if these photos are genuine, that this craft is a descendant of the Blackbird and could even be that rumored space plane.

Great Britain:

A couple were returning to their home near Wrexham, in East Wales, on 22 March, 2009. As they pulled into the driveway they saw a strange light overhead. At first they saw one light, then another, They thought a helicopter was overhead and got out to see it, but when they got out two more lights joined it and everything was quiet. No noise was coming from above. They watched as two lights just vanished and another two just sped off at incredible speed. This incident is similar to one from last September which remains unsolved.

Newly released documents show that the Ministry of Defence claims that there is now an explanation for a couple of UFO sightings over Wales in the early 1990s. The newly released documents contain details of the investigations into the sightings. The first sighting happened on December 9,1991 when dozens of people reported seeing burning white lights, flames and heard rumbling sounds. The Ministry says that the incident was traced to a USAF pilot. They go on to say that he had to jettison fuel and it was ignited by the aircraft's afterburner. The second sighting occurred on March 31, 1993, This one was said to have had probably thousands of witnesses. Two brilliant objects emitting bright vapor trails were see flying silently across the sky. A policeman had put in his report, “two very bright” white UFOs, “circular with tails” were over Gelligaer Common. Others described them like very big stars. The trails behind the objects were not like those from jet planes, they were one single very large trail. They flew much faster than a plane and made no sound. The MOD stated that after an investigation that these objects were, “later traced to the re-entry of a Russian Cosmos rocket body which burned up, decaying over the North Atlantic.”

Worldwide:

On March 19th , 2009 an unidentified blip was picked up by radar over an airport in India. At first it was thought to be a Cathay Pacific flight, but there was a separate blip, aside from this plane. Many suspect that this was a UFO, but others think it was some unauthorized flight.

The Xinhua News Agency has reported that a number of journalists, government officials and passengers on a plane, reported seeing a UFO and photographing it. A Southern Airlines flight took place on February 24, 2009. Aboard the flight were all of the above mentioned people and many others. The plane was headed toward Nanjing. It was about 6 pm when the UFO was seen. It was traveling alongside of the plane. The pilot alerted the security officials and they got a few photos of the object before it sped off.
