There are quite a few science fiction movies that some people believe are based on true facts. It is probably something that most people, other than the ones I have mentioned, don't even think about. Is it a possibility that Hollywood does make some so-called science fiction movies that are really not science fiction, but science fact? I guess anything is possible and when you truly examine some of these movies, you do begin to see that even if they are not true stories, they may have grains of truth written into them. One of the best ways to examine these movies is by looking at some famous UFO events and even the entire UFO scene. What am I talking about you might ask? Well I guess there is no better time to get into this, than now. In the 1950s UFOs were being spotted all over the world. Panic was spreading and the military was ordered to fire on all UFOs. It wasn't just the U.S. military as we may have thought. Recent releases of UFO documents have shown that many different countries were firing on these UFOs that were more commonly known as saucers then. It was even thought that though our planes were ineffective at shooting anything down, at least this is what we were told, some may have crashed due to the effect of high powered Soviet and American radar in later years. A movie came out during the early 1950s called Earth vs The Flying Saucers. In the movie saucers were attacking the earth and even tried to abduct people. There are a lot of people that believe that we may have been attacked by a saucer or two and were able to repel them. In the movie a machine was built that supposedly interfered with the anti-gravity propulsion of the saucers. This is exactly what was reported that the high powered radar did. If the movie was not true, it certainly was inspired by events of the times. By the way, it is an interesting movie to watch because of the effect by the famous Raymond Harryhausen. He did King Kong, the original. Many people believe that we have made contact with aliens and it is being kept secret. This was even believed by some right after World War Two. I guess it was brought on by the sightings of all those foo fighters during the war. Foo fighters were balls of light that followed the planes, both ours and the enemies, all through the years. In the beginning both sides had thought that they were secret weapons from the other side, but as time went by this was realized to be a mistake. The Day The Earth Stood Still was made in 1951. It was about a peaceful alien that landed on the Earth with the sole purpose of making contact. He had brought a very powerful weapon with him in case things didn't work out, it was a deadly robot. All one has to do is look on the Internet to see how many people believe we have made contact with aliens years ago. In the same vein, Close Encounters Of the Third Kind, is thought of as even more of a true story and has been cited many times as such. Could Hollywood producers and directors be taking true contact stories and making them into movies. Some of them know very powerful people in the government and may have all kinds of information leaked to them, so it may not be as absurd as it seems. A television movie named The Incident At Roswell was actually taken from a supposed crash of an alien craft in 1947. The script was written about all the events that people believe occurred during that time in Roswell, New Mexico, where a supposed UFO crashed and alien bodies were found and dissected. The story goes on to say that everyone involved was threatened that if they weren't quiet about these events, there bones would be found in the desert. The intelligence officer who was involved in the crash was Jesse Marcel, who later was forced by the Army to pose with the remains of a weather balloon. The military has given out at least three different versions of what happened over the years and none are correct, because facts don't support them. At the time of the event, the local newspaper ran a headline that stated a flying disk had crashed. Five Million Years To Earth, made in 1967, is a story about an ancient spaceship that is unearthed. Supposedly the ship is unearthed in London where it is first thought to be a left over missile from World War Two. We have had several rumors about ancient spaceships being unearthed. A report on one was posted on the Internet a few months ago and I may have mentioned it in one of my UFO updates or articles, I just don't remember. Anyway it was said to be over 20 million years old with some strange stones found in an area of the ship that was believed to be a fuel tank of some kind. The stones were inert. Unfortunately you have to take everything you find on the Internet with a grain of salt, there are just so many false claims and forged photos. Does this mean that this account was not true? We will probably never know for sure. I don't know why there are so many people that believe that Stargate was actually based on a real Stargate that the government has kept secret for years. I have never found anything to indicate that this is so. One thing though that I have found and that is that all the names of Egyptians are real as far as I can determine and that also goes for the Egyptian words that are used. Maybe this has contributed to the feeling that the show is based on true events? Even science fiction comedy might be based on real events some claim and to bolster their claim they site the movie Men In Black. Men In Black featured those supposed mysterious men in black suits that are said to work for a secret government agency that has to do with UFOs and aliens. They drive black cars and use black helicopters. They have been reported by so many people after sightings and crashes that they are hard to ignore. Many a person claims that they were threatened to keep quite by these people OR ELSE. While the general story line of the movie may not be true, there is no denying that many people have seen these guys. So does Hollywood know something that we don't, or are all science fiction movies as they say, science fiction? |
