The Moon Landings In Pictures

It been a while now since we last set foot on the moon. The whole epsode of moon landings seems almost like a dream. The eager attempt to get to lunar and the successful landings are beginning to fade into history. It over 30 years since we last walked over those white powdery surfaces. Apollo 17 landed on the moon on 11 December 1972 and returned back to Earth on 19 December 1972. The mission personnel were Eugene A. Cernan, commander,
Ronald E. Evans, command module pilot and Harrison H. Schmitt, lunar module pilot. Many people around today weren't even born yet. I thought it might be nice to review the events pictorically. These events are not in any particular order.
