Examining More Mars Rover Photos

Sometimes we look at something like a cloud, or landscape we can see things. We might see faces or objects, but on closer examination it is only our eyes playing tricks on us. For some reason the human brain likes to fill in missing parts when, we look at something. We might be looking at a half oval and yet we think that we are seeing the entire object. This automatically means that we have to be extra careful in our observations of things like photographs, especially those taken of terrain. Give someone enough photos of terrain and they will inevitably come up with objects, where none exist. This is almost a certainty. Does this mean that all observations of objects contained in photos of the terrain are our imagination? Certainly not, it just means that we have to be very careful before pronouncing something to be an object, until we are absolutely sure. This usually entails careful examination of photos by experts that know what to look for.

Sometimes, when time allows, I like to examine photos that were taken by NASA. There is certainly a lot of material out there, because NASA gets thousands of new photos every day from its many probes and rovers. It gets so many photos that there is always a chance that something will slip through that we weren't supposed to see. This allows one to become an explorer. It almost allows you to feel like those old time explorers that were excited to see what lay on the other side of the ocean. It is true that looking for unusual artifacts in photos such as the ones taken by the two Mars rovers can be exciting. Unfortunately sometimes what we think are original photos are really reprocesses and what I like to refer to as Photoshopped. What I mean is that photos and videos, such as those from the Apollo missions were being reconstructed under the guise that the original ones were taped over and tapes had to be copied again from various outside sources. What makes this so suspicious is the fact that with the technology we have today, we could have brought out a lot more detail in those Apollo tapes.

I had heard that the people that were doing this claim that they are “improving” the quality of the tapes and that they are Hollywood professionals. I have to wonder how Apollo tapes could have been taped over in the first place and also wonder if what is really going on is the purging of anything in the tapes that were deemed not for our eyes? When the original Apollo tapes were made and the still photos taken, it was never imagined that some day, photographic techniques would improve so much that these old tapes and negatives would be able to be enhanced so much that additional information in them, if it was there, would be able to be brought out visibly There were many stories going around the Internet that this thought terrified NASA, because they knew that other things might come out in the photos, such as glass domes and even ruined structures, anyway that is how the story goes. Arguments over this being a possibility have been going on for years, and many witnesses that were former NASA employees have testified to this fact. As I was saying before, one of the greatest obstacles to examining photos from NASA is to be too sure of what you are seeing. You do not want to say things like this is a man made structure, unless there is some proof that you are right. Having said this, there is certainly nothing wrong with putting up what you discovered for others to see, if you let them form their own opinions. Recently I was looking through a batch of photos from the Mars rover Opportunity. I went over them with a fine tooth comb as they say. Yes I came up with some unusual objects, at least they looked unusual, but I fully realized that they could just be tricks of light and form. Never the less I wanted others to see them and form their own opinions, so I am showing them to you today. The skeptics will say that the photos show nothing, the believers may say they show that Mars was inhabited and the rest of us may or may not think at least one of the pictures shows something unusual.

I have commented on this before, but I find it very unusual that Mars contains a lot of rock structures that seem to be perfectly round, like a baseball and range from very tiny to maybe softball size or bigger. My first impression when I saw these objects was to think that they came from river beds where the action of flowing water over the years caused rocks to assume this shape as they were agitated over and over and smoothed out. There are a lot of these things on Mars and if I am correct, there must have been a lot of water, or at least liquid of some kind that disappeared Some say that Mars had an atmosphere that was earth like and it was torn from the planet and that when this happened the planet lost all its water. Then there is the other theory and that states that the water on the planet sank into the planet and if we could go to Mars we would find plenty of underground springs and lakes and maybe ever oceans.

Mechanical Part Or Rock?

One of the things that really fascinates me are the many objects that have been seen in photos of Mars that look like the remains of structures built by intelligent beings. Every once in a while, you see something in a photo that could have been part of a building and amazingly that building seemed to be of the type that would have been built in the style of Roman architecture. You find things that look like a corniness, arches, planks of wood, and even the remains of columns. Is this what these objects actually are? We can not know for sure, but it is certainly interesting to look at them, so I have included the newest ones I have found with this article. Remember this, a wooden plank can really be a long rock, even a decorative horizontal stone can be just a trick of light, but all those round rocks certainly indicate some process took place on Mars that made them that shape.
