Things Scientists Aren't Talking About

We are being told so many different things by scientists and so called experts, that it boggles the mind. Sometimes the things we are told are at odds with each other. This leaves us in a quandary of confusion. We just don't know what to believe when this happens. Look at global warming for instance. While most scientists believe that it is happening, there are others that say not only it is not, but it is going to get a lot colder. How is a person supposed to believe anything that he or she is told with all this contradiction running rampant? As bad as this is, there is a lot that we are not being told about different things. Maybe not being told about things is even worse than conflicting statements, I will leave that for you to decide?

We have all been told about the bee problem in the U.S., but just in case you haven't heard, honeybees are disappearing at alarming rates. This is important because our crops depend on these bees for pollination. The bee problem is well known as I said, but I bet most of you have never heard about the sheep problem? Here it is in a nutshell. The sheep are shrinking. I am not talking about flocks of sheep containing less and less sheep, I am talking about the size of sheep. Before global warming, sheep were said to be 5% bigger in Scotland. Scientists feel that the climate is changing and is affecting the growth rate of the sheep. Something else has also happened to the sheep in Scotland, lambs that would have not survived are now surviving and growing up and having lambs themselves. Younger lambs are now unable to produce large amounts of offspring. A British scientist stated, "And that, for our wild sheep at least, climate change is having a detectable effect on body size — a trait that is partly determined by genes — and that this compliments previous research showing how climate change can influence population size."

You don't hear much about GMOs anymore. A GMO is a genetically modified organism. Scientists really don't know how the thousands of genes will interact with each other when some are altered. It is like a small child that has been give a Rubik's cube. He or she will test it, but they have no idea how to get the desired result. It turns out that there are genetic experiments going on that are much the same. When it comes to modifying food, it can be very dangerous. Genetically modified crops were allowed to be grown outside and have already effected many of the crops in the U.S., because their spores have spread. Was this done on purpose? If it wasn't we must have had the stupidest scientists ever, working on this project. Anyone knows that once crops are grown outside, spores are spread by insects, the wind and many other ways and it is impossible to stop this. Has anyone noticed how the allergy to peanuts has increased tremendously? At this point I wouldn't believe any statistics that say it hasn't, because I know too many children that have it. These genetic experiments are continuous and could also hurt the environment.

Another thing that scientists are not mentioning much is the fact that we are in a global water crisis. Much of the water around the world, the fresh water that is, is drying up. We in America are very lucky because we have the Great Lakes. They are shrinking, but are so large that we are not really effected and when you throw in the various springs, lakes and rivers, we are still in pretty good shape. No so for some places. People in parts of Africa are dying of thirst. Some lakes in Africa have now become just mud puddles. Some are saying that the way we manage our water is causing a big problem. Water is being diverted to desert areas from once mighty rivers. These desert areas were settled by people and that is putting a strain on the resources. Water is a big factor in the middle east and may someday lead to war. The world population is currently growing by 80 million people each year while the supplies of fresh water are shrinking.

I dread to think of what we are not being told by the scientists involved with the military. This is really upsetting. When you think about the over 1000 nuclear tests in this country, you have to realize that the radiation had to go somewhere. In the beginning the test were conducted in the open air, increasing the radiation exposure for all of us and our offspring. Somewhere down the line the government decided to conduct underground nuclear tests. The scientists never mentioned the fact that reports were made, see www.ees1.lanl.gov, showing that in the words of the report, “hydraulic head increases in rocks up to 4 cavity radii away from tests for up to 100 years after the test and require over 1000 years to return to a pretest state. For deep tests, this pressurization extends into the regional aquifer, indicating a possibility that fluids originating near the boundary of the disturbed zone will eventually move into the regional aquifer.” The test seem to have effected the aquifer, or water supply. This is why I believed that cattle mutilations are the work of the government and are a way of testing the sensitive parts of cattle that exist in the areas near where the bomb tests were made, or where the wind would carry the radiation, for cancer.

Robot

Our military is working diligently to develop more robotic weapons. They are even working on robotic soldiers. They may not look human, but they move, and they kill. All we ever hear about is how great things are going to be, because these robot will save lives. But here is what we are not being told. Robots are just computers, mobile computer, but just computers. Many countries have thousands, or hundreds of thousands of hackers and these guys and gals are breaking into the most sophisticated computers on earth. How much easier will it be to hack into the control center for these robots? Could it be that someday, we will field thousands of these robots, just to have them turned against us? Never mind about them going rogue on their own, worry more about them being taken over by our enemies.

It seems that we are being kept in the dark about a lot of things and I have only scratched the surface of these secrets, or in some cases little known facts. I guess that most scientists just don't want to talk about certain things for different reasons. They may be told not to, they may fear losing their jobs, or they may have signed non disclosure agreements, but be that as it may, it seems to me that they have a higher duty, a duty to keep us informed, so that we can at least have a chance to properly take care of ourselves.
