One of the strangest events in all of the universe takes place when two or more people share the same dream. At first it seems impossible, but when some people were questioned away from each other, when they professed to have the same dream, the answers to the questions about the dream were the same. While this didn't hold true for everyone that felt that they had the same dream, there was a certain percentage that gave identical answers that were so perfect that it seemed that there was just no way that they could be lying or incorrect in the assumption that the dream was the same. Sometimes these dreams even occurred at the exact same time. There are quite a few cases of close relatives such as brothers, sister, mothers, fathers and even children experiencing the same dreams. It might have even happened to some of you out there?

There is a theory about this type of dreaming and that is that sometimes a person is able to project their thoughts while in a relaxed stated, such as sleep, and not even realize they are doing this. In this type of case it is said that those physically near them might act as receivers and receive the dream that is being broadcast. Some people believe that this is somehow tied in with the ability of being able to project your being outside of your body. This is similar to an out of body experience, or so they say. This would mean that Astral Projection might be a fact. In case you are not familiar with this term, it means the ability of the spirit to roam around without the physical body. As you might guess there are far more people that do not believe in this theory than do, but as in all things that means nothing. I always like to point out the fact that most scientists now believe that time doesn't always flow in a straight line, but most people believe that it does.

When two or more people experience the identical dream, not just dream about the same subject, there could be other reasons according to different theories. Some believe that there are other dimensions that are accessible through different frequencies and we haven't found them yet, because we haven't the correct frequencies to access them, but if we did they believe that strange things would happen. An example of this might be a dimension where everyone has the same dream, for example. They feel that maybe one of the sleepers in our dimension is somehow unconsciously accessing that dimension and this effects those near him or her. I guess things don't get more far fetched than this, but I hate to say that because if it ever turned out to be true, then the person laughing at this theory would really have egg on their face. There is a scientist that claims to be able to access another dimension, but only intermittently. He claims that it is a dimension of energy and he can get limitless energy from it. Currently, as I said previously, most scientists believe in the multi-dimensional theory.

9/11 was a very good example of many people sharing the same dream. There are many people that claimed to have dreamed about the 9/11 disaster before it happened. It could turn out to be hundreds of people. This was not only a case of people having the same dream, but also of people having a dream that predicted the future. When we look at this phenomena it has to make us wonder what is going on. Could it have been one person that caused all these dreams, a person that could see into the future and project his thoughts while asleep. There are cases on record of people who they say could predict the future while asleep. One of the most famous was Edgar Cayce, also known as the sleeping prophet. If someone had this ability, combined with the ability to broadcast their dreams, this could have caused this to happen. There could also be other explanations such as many people being able to see the future, but not knowing it. Then there is the theory that we can all see the future, but we don't realize it.

There is said to be proof for the last statement that we can all see the future and it rests in the little black box that is sitting at Edinburgh University in Scotland and in other black boxes all over the world. These are the black boxes that only put out 0s or 1s randomly and yet when something terrible is about to happen they put out far more of one than another which is impossible according to the law of probability. This has happened time and time again BEFORE major catastrophes such as the tsunami that took hundred of thousands of lives a few years ago, 9/11 and countless other tragedies. There is just no other way to explain why the numbers come out this way, except for the fact that the human race effects them in this way. I admit that this is all very mysterious and currently science has no explanation, but it certainly seems that we knew in our subconscious that something was going to happen and when enough brain power combined, it effected the boxes.

There are those people that changed flights, took different trains and even canceled trips, because they dreamed of great tradgey and they were correct. The news is always full of these things. One case that I thought was very interesting was when a particular person and a complete stranger found out that they both had the same dream. Is it possible that we might experience a dream and someone on the other side of the world is having the same one? There has not been enough research into this field to find out if that is really possible, but it does make one wonder, doesn't it? If some dreams are based on events, and someone else is experiencing the same events, then it might be possible.

Let's get into something even more strange. We all seem to have dreamed about people that we have never met before, but when people who were asked to let a sketch artist draw the person they saw, over 2,000 people from all over the world saw the same person in their dreams. None of the people shared any common traits and they were from many different cities on all different continents. Who is this man and why do so many people dream about him? This is truly a mystery.
