Etheric Plane

Have you ever seen something move out of the corner of your eye, yet no one was there? Did you ever see a very dark shadow that was so dark that it was visible in a dark room and did it glide across a wall? Have you ever felt that even though you were the only one in a room, there was someone, or something staring at you? If the answer to these questions is yes, than you are either paranoid, your eyes are playing tricks on you, or you might just be a victim of the paranormal. There are quite a few people that claim that they can see things by using the vision at the very edge of the eye. While this type of vision doesn't seem to be as accurate as normal vision, there is something to be said for it.

There are a lot of cases where people have become, for lack of a scientific term, creeped out by what that saw using peripheral vision. One man was saying that every time he sits at his computer he can see things going on in an open closet off to the side of his desk. He states that he sees a lot of movement in that area and confesses that he doesn't know what it is, because he swears that he is the only one in the room. Some say that practicing using peripheral vision will ultimately allow one to develop his or her Etheric vision. Etheric vision is the ability to see the invisible part of the ordinary. Are there things being hidden from us humans that could only be detected with Etheric vision? Some think so. I don't know exactly what these hidden things would be, but according to some, there is a much broader world out there than we are able to see with our puny human vision, there is said to be a sub-plane of the physical plane and it is known as the Etheric Plane.

Mystics and the Etheric are connected at the hip. There is even a story of a person investigating sub-atomic physics using his Etheric vision. He stated that he was able to even examine other problems in physics this way. A fringe element of scientists claim that during this research they have found that there is a dynamic aether that permeates all space and that it is composed of a fluid crystal type of structure. This has a tie in to that dimension of energy that I have talked to the inventor John Hutchinson about. The Rosicrucians have long believed in this. The idea is that there is a type of matter that we can not see with our ordinary vision, because this matter is much finer than normal matter, but it can be glanced with Etheric vision.

Dark shadows moving are a whole other ball game. The first thing you have to do if you see one is to do an investigation. Could the shadow have been cause by the lights from passing cars? Could it have been caused by someone walking in front of a light source. Even pets can cause shadows. Once you have eliminated these things, if you can eliminate them, then you are left with just this very inky dark shadow that is much darker than any shadow should be and its movement. Many videos show shadows moving behind or in front of people in rooms, but most of these are not the the type that I am talking about. If you have ever seen one of these extremely dark shadows you would know what I mean. Picture a black hole and you are close to what the shadow looks like. One of the problems with black shadows is that mediums and tricksters employ them as proof of the afterlife. This causes ridicule for those that claim that they have seen them.

Black shadows of the nature that I have talked about are known as Shadow People in some circles. There are different kinds. One type may look like the silhouette of a person, or even an animal, while the other type is more like a blob. Some people claim that they began to see these shadows after using a Ouija board, or practicing a satanic type ritual. Other people say they just appeared one day in the middle of the night. Some have seen them several times and yet others only once. One person told a story about a deep dark shadow person that came into his room very fast as if it was running. As he watched it jumped in front of his bed. It then began to move first at a slow speed then faster and faster. At this point he decided to get the heck out of there, but found that he was paralyzed. He began to yell because he thought that he might be asleep and dreaming. Concentrating with all his might, the man was able to get his body to move and at that point he stated that the shadow person fled the room. The encyclopedia defines Shadow People this way:
“Shadow people (also known as shadow men, shadow folk, or shadow beings) are supernatural shadow-like creatures of both modern folklore and traditional native American beliefs”

Staring

Most of us have had a feeling at one time or another that we were being stared at. This is quite common in humans and even in animals, according to some experts. Some experiments have shown that people who are being stared at from behind will turn around. A survey was taken that showed that up to 92 percent of people have had this feeling. If we really have this capability to know when someone is staring at us, why would we feel this way in an empty room? Many people attribute this to the paranormal. They claim that we can detect when spirits are looking at us. Others say this is just paranoia. It turns out that this feeling can be induced by electromagnetism. If your home is a source of this, because of being too close to power lines or the type of wiring in it, it is said that this will contribute to this feeling. The problem is that some people have felt this way and then claimed to have seen an apparition appear. When more than one person at a time sees something like this it is hard to deny.

So what can we determine from all this? Well first of all we can either believe or disbelieve all or part of the above. Is there another plane that we need training to see? Do spirits come back in the form of shadows and can we detect spirits by a feeling? I don't really know, what do you think?
