One such event is something that occurs from time to time. It is the ability that seemingly almost anyone has to lift a weight that is beyond belief. It usually happens in very stressful situations such as a car being lifted off of a child. Such a thing occurred just a few weeks ago. A child was trapped under a car in Kansas, when a man rushed to the scene and lifted the automobile off her. This saved her life. The man was not able to repeat what he had done during a test. I think that many of us have heard about such things and yet even though it has been seen, no one can explain how it happens. One thing is for sure, we seem to be far stronger than we suspect. Could there be some sort of governor in our brain that stops us from doing this normally that is somehow bypassed in times of stress? Photo Source: Stock.xching Popular Mechanics, the magazine that has been around forever, ran an article on five UFO sightings that can not be explained. While they certainly submit very valid cases, such as the Trent UFO photos, I submit that the greatest mystery case is the UFO that hovered over the O'Hare airport for about a half hour. Apparently we could do nothing to get it to land, or take any other action. I wonder if anyone thinks that we had no military planes within a half hour travel time of the airport? The UFO was seen by everyone there and brazenly sat in full view right over a gate, so that it would gain the most exposure. It WANTED to be seen and it was, and yet what was accomplished by this? Most people have not changed their opinions and have already forgot about the event that was so critical that it actually was reported in the everyday news. Photo Source: Stock.xching There are many ghost hunting programs on television lately and they are usually laughable. But when I speak of the supernatural a photo comes to mind. This photo is said to have been examined by experts and after it was examined it was said to be absolutely unaltered and not a trick of light. The photo was taken in 1997 at the Pere Lachaise cemetery, in France where Doors front-man Jim Morrison is buried. Brett Meisner a rock historian posed for a photo. He didn't notice the image in the background until about 2002. You can see the photo by clicking HERE. The image shows what looks like a man wearing a tee shirt with his hands outstretched standing behind Meisner. Interestingly, there seems to be a figure above its left hand and maybe a head above its right arm. Photo Source: Stock.xching Sometimes unexplainable things happen right in front of us. Millions of people around the world were witnesses to an unexplainable event that happened right in the United States of America. It happened in New York City and now is being acknowledged. It was the collapse of the World Trade Towers. The national Institute for Standards and Technology has admitted that it can NOT explain why the towers collapsed. This statement comes after years of exhaustive study. Yes I know they were hit by airliners, but this still should not have brought them down. A 10,000 page report fails to explain how the collapse initiation proceeded and also how it was possible for part of the World Trade Center structure to fall through the path of MOST resistance at free fall speed. A plane hitting each tower should not have been able to violate the laws of physics and without some other method being triggered to bring down the towers, the planes should not have been able to do it. When we talk about odds, most of us realize that the odds are always with the house. If we go to Las Vegas to gamble, the odds vary depending on the game we are playing. If we are talking about winning really big money, the odds are against us even more. When we talk about winning a state lottery, we might have a small chance at winning a tiny prize and almost no chance at winning a big one. Having said this, there is a man who lives in the Calgary, Canada area who has won over $2,000,000 in four lotto games in five years. He has a court claim where his latest win is being disputed. It seems that on January 16, 2009 he won the $17,000,000 jackpot in a Super 7 draw. This caused a lottery probe and a court proceeding. The man says that he buys a few hundred tickets every month and has no system. Now get this, the man says he can prove that he is the winner because he played the same winning numbers that he won on a quick pick in 2006. How is it that someone can beat the odds like this, it should be impossible? People play their whole life without winning a large prize and yet this person keeps winning. So far it seems that this win is legitimate as were the others. Billions are spent on drugs that are said to be miracle cures and yet when tests are run on people that have the illness that these medicines are designed for, there is always a certain percentage of people that get cured by taking the placebo in a blind test. If a placebo can cure a disease, or at least make someone feel better, don't you think that the reason for this should be investigated? It could be that if a certain part of the brain is stimulated, then medicine would not be needed. People taking placebos think that they are getting the real medicine and just thinking that seems to be enough to help them. We are studying the brain intensely and have even figured out how to issue command to computers by just thinking them, now it is time to try and find out if we really need medicine at all. |
