Mysterious |
Why are there so many mysteries on Earth? The Earth has thousands of mysteries attached to it. Over the years I have talked about many of these mysteries. We have never really questioned the reason that there are so many mysteries. It just might turn out that there is a hole in our scientific understanding. As we learn more and more over the years, we may just solve some of these mysteries. I completed an article on Portals (Vortexes) about three weeks ago. We don't know if they exist, or if any of the stories about them are true. This could change in the future. We might just find out that scientific discoveries will solve this riddle for us. It may turn out that portals don't exist at all, or on the other hand it could turn out that we will learn how to use them. Some mysteries may never lend themselves to be solved, no matter what we learn from science, because they are not scientifically based. They are more of a historical enigma They are the type of mysteries that come about because the races that created them have long disappeared and it may be that no matter what we learned, this knowledge will not help in solving this types of mystery. To find out about these types of things we would have to find history, in the form of writings from those, races stating why they built what they did, when they built it and exactly how. One of the most amazing things to my mind is the fact that there apparently were ancient races in South America that built incredible cities and yet they were said to have no writing. It just might turn out that they did and we haven't found it yet. Without writing how could they have laid out plans to build the cities that they did? Sometimes earthly mysteries are very subtle and people might not even notice them. We might look at a carving or painting from some ancient race for many years and not notice anything unusual about it and then someone points out something and you wonder why you didn't notice it. This is true of some of the Mayan reliefs. The one that I am thinking of is the one where it was pointed out that a figure seems to be sitting inside a spaceship and is using the controls. Before being noticed as a MAYBE carving of an alien ship, no one ever thought that this is what it might be. It was just thought of as one of those strange relics of a disappeared race, much as strange carved heads. Then there are the paintings from the middle ages. What were artists thinking when they painted UFOs , or objects that looked like UFOs, in their paintings? These were people that had no access to flying machines and wouldn't have known about anything that flew, except birds. So were these people putting UFOs in their paintings or are we mistaking these objects. Maybe they are really something else? Maybe it is time that someone did some research to see if there were any objects that were in the shape of a UFO, but were something else, something more mundane, that existed in that time. Maybe what we are seeing as a UFO is really a hat, but what would a hat be doing painted into a sky? Going back to really ancient statues, we find a lot of people comparing some of them to ancient astronauts. If someone finds a statue with a big head and fat belly, it is instantly looked at as being an extraterrestrial. This gets to be a little silly after a while. Admittedly there are some statues that can be compared to an astronaut in a spacesuit, but they could also be compared to other things. When we go back so far in time that we are at the dawn of things like carving statues, we may never know what was in the mind of the carvers. We surely will never find any documentation for these things. Not all ancient statues were of people. A cone shaped statue from the stone age was found in Russia and archaeologists are still trying to figure out why it was carved and what it represents. Sometimes I think that people try to hard to find the reason for things and what they are. I can just see some stone age guy carving this thing and saying to his fellow stone age men, “hey look I carved a triangle” Some mysteries concern paranormal events, or events that are mistaken for paranormal. There is a theory that certain types of ores and minerals might be able to record images and play them back under certain circumstances. This could account for some of the sightings that have been reported. There is a cave in Rome where Roman soldiers have been seen marching back and forth and some even ride horses. This has been seen by many different tourists. Of course this event is called paranormal, but it may not be at all. Could this also account for some of those other paranormal sightings? As you can see mysteries are all around us, but they may not be as mysterious as we think. They may just be ordinary things that are completely misunderstood. Here we are searching for exotic explanations when we should be using the tenants of Occam's Razor, which states that the correct explanations are often the simplest ones. |
