Portals
Other Dimensions Portals. People have always been fascinated by the fact that there have been claims of portals that exist on this planet that lead to other places. This could even be where the idea came from for Stargate. These portals are said to exist in different parts of the world and lead to different areas and dimensions. I have never seen solid proof that that there are portals, but there are quite a few people that believe this and even plan vacations around these places. The dictionary defines a portal as a grand and imposing entrance. Lesser definitions define it as an entrance to other sites on the Internet and a short vein that carries blood to the liver. For the sake of this article I guess the imposing entrance would be the closest definition that fits. While an actual entrance is usually not seen when we are talking about such things as portals to other dimensions, many claim to know where the entrance is. In case you think that only kooks think that there are other dimensions, even Albert Einstein discussed them and current string theory physics relies on their existence. One very interesting personal experience I had that involved extra dimensions was when John Hutchison explained to me how he was drawing energy from another dimension and used videos of his experiments to demonstrate this. His claim is that there is a dimension where all energy goes and we can tap that energy if we know how. At the time I remember thinking that since we are composed of flesh and blood AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY, could the energy he was using, if indeed it did come from this dimension, have once been a living thing? I know that this is kind of a strange thought, but he insisted that he had found a portal that could be held open using certain machines and this would allow him to tap into that energy dimension.
Vortex Let's examine a very strange idea that recently reared its ugly head. The idea is that there are not only parallel universes, but that there is at least one that is exactly like ours and we are bobbing in and out of it without even realizing it, since everything is the same. Supposedly since even the people are the same, along with the events, there would be no way to prove this. As we would go into that universe, the other person like us from that universe would come here. This involuntary transportation would take place anywhere from once in a while to every day. Some have even refined this theory to state that it only happens when we go into a deep sleep. In other words we are sleeping in a different dimension. I could yell PROVE IT!, but that would only be a waste of time since it seems to be unprovable. This doesn't make it any less interesting however. Here is the thing, while there may be other dimensions, they may not necessarily be parallel universes and if the energy dimension exists, this would be proof. Alternate dimensions could be so weird that we can not even conceive of what they would look like. Remember the laws of physics that we have come to know, might not even apply in the same way in these places. For example, we might drop something and it might go sideways instead of down. Objects might not be solid and even light might not work the same way. Things might be so strange that the second we stepped into one of these places, we might get destroyed, they could be made of anti-matter. When we talk about portals to other dimensions, some studies suggest that they can be found because the temperature fluctuations around and near suspected portals. It turns out that many portals are mistaken for haunted areas, at least this is what people who believe in portals say. They go on to state that some people see or sense many entities passing back and forth through these portals, but humans don't seem to be able to pass through, or at least there is no evidence that this has happened. Others state that these portals are really gates to other planets and space aliens are using them to travel back and forth. Could there be a Stargate like device that only works for aliens on this planet? Let me ask you this, if we find out someday that UFOs are truly piloted by alien travelers, would a Stargate device be so unbelievable? Why do people believe in portals if they can't pass through the suspected one into other dimensions? I guess that it might have something to do with strange feelings that they say they get in a certain area. Of course there is also what I just spoke about, the sense or seeing of entities passing in and out. There are also the stories and there are quite a few of them. Stories about very strange goings on in different places in the world where a suspected vortex exists. Yes when we speak of a vortex this way, it is the same as saying portal. There is even a vortex map where people are marking what they believe are vortexes. What they do is they mark the GPS coordinates of a vortex that they find on a map so that others can check it out.
Stonehenge If I wanted to find a vortex where could I go? I would have to say that one of the most famous places that is said to have them is Stonehenge, the ancient monument that has been around for thousands of years in England. Another famous area that is said to have a portal or vortex is the area around the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt. It does make one wonder if these areas were only singled out because of their mysterious origins? People tend to credit all sorts of mythical powers to mysterious places, it is only human to do so. If someone came to me and asked me if I thought that there was a portal to another dimension at these places I would have to say no. Does this mean that I think that it is impossible for portals to exist that might lead to other dimensions? I would have to say no to this also. The reason for this would be that I just can not rule out the existence of portals, even though I have not seen any evidence to support them. |
