What is going on in Bruncombe County, North Carolina? Every once in a while things are found that seem to defy explanation and what is being found in North Carolina is no exception. The objects are not being found by archaeologists, or at least they are not saying so, but ordinary people are finding them, people like gardeners. What exactly are these objects? At first no one knew. People feared the worst and thought that they might be rattlesnake or copperhead eggs, but they weren't and that certainly was good news. The last thing that anyone needs is more poisonous snakes in their area. The objects have been narrowed down to some kind of reptile egg. The problem is that nothing quite fits their appearance, although some types of eggs, especially the Box Turtle come close in appearance. Could we have some mutant reptile eggs here?

No discussion of strange unexplainable objects would be complete without talking about Dr. Roger Leir. You may remember the interview I had with him. To read and hear his interview click here. Anyway, he has been busily removing unknown objects from people. Many of them go to him because they believe that they were abducted and implanted with alien objects. Dr. Leir has found that some of these objects can not be explained and furthermore, they seem to tap into the body's electrical system to power some sort of signal. When they are removed, they become inert and the signal shuts down. Are we being tagged like cattle and wild animals? Who can really say?

As I have said many times before, archaeologists are not prone to tell people when they find something that can not be explained. They want to keep their reputations intact. That is why we haven't heard very much about the giant tools that were found. These tools were dated back to about 7 ½ million years. That was the first problem for archaeologists, because that meant they were older than what was believed the age of man, far older. The second problem was that they were so big that an ordinary man would have had trouble using them. For example the stone ax that was found was said to have weighed about 35 pounds. This is not something that could be handled very briskly and it was about 4 feet long. This would indicate that there were people on the earth far earlier than we ever suspected and that they were a race of giants. The strange part of all this is that much evidence has been found to support the fact that giants once lived on the earth.

Not all unknown objects are found on earth. Sometimes unknown objects are found in space. I am not talking about UFOs here, but just unknown objects. Years ago an unknown small object floated outside the International Space Station and NASA did everything they could to figure out what it was. It is said that they never could and eventually the object floated away. Could there be mysterious objects floating in space? Perhaps as we travel through space we will encounter all sorts of flotsam and jetsam floating around in it?

Several years ago the Metropolitan Museum exhibited a piece that could not be traced back to any dig, yet all the experts believed that it was authentic. It was from Akkadia, an ancient empire and showed Naram-Sin, an Akkadian king seated beside Ishtar, the goddess of love, fertility and war. Without knowing its background it stumped the experts until one of them said that he thought that this was part of a mold used to emboss shields carried by the king's soldiers. The museum had placed a card with the display that read, ''both the function and significance of this object remain unknown.''

Fossils can be really strange, but one of the strangest has to be a rock, made of limestone that has been dated at about 110 million years old. Why is this so strange you might ask? It is strange because the stone contains a perfect human hand print. As if this wasn't strange enough, another rock that was estimated to be 300 to 600 million years old was found that contains what looks like a human foot print of a person wearing a sandal. To this we have to add a fossilized human finger that is believed to be about 110 million years old. Rocks have also been found that contain footprints of dinosaurs with human foot prints beside them. Is the human race much older than we suspect, or have we been here before and died out and came back again? Your guess is as good as mine.

Metal objects that were definitely worked were found in deposits in France that were over 65 million years old. If one really looks for this stuff it can be found. Is it all 100 percent verifiable? Of course not, but enough of it is, that it has to make one feel that there is more to our ancestry than we suspect.
