Well those strange noises are at it again. Seems there are more and more places in the world reporting strange sounds.

Seems the United Kingdom is not immune to these annoyances. The town of Swange is being inundated with a low frequency sound that is said to be almost a vibration. It is so bad that most of the residents are walking around wearing walkmans or other types of ear coverings. One man said that the sound was so bad it caused the hinges in his door to vibrate and the pins worked their way up causing the door to come off of the hinges. As we know there are places in the US that are plagued by this type of sound and some of it has been blamed on HARP. Some people in the town have taken it upon themselves to investigate. Some blame the source of the sound on a BP deep drilling operation. One resident stated that as the drill runs down the twisting and turning pipe it causes the drill to 'sing'.

The crew of the International Space Station are hearing strange sounds. The crew being only two people, what a waste of money that station is. Four months ago a sound was heard that was metallic in nature. It was thought that maybe something hit the station. The sound wasn't heard again, that is until April 10, 2004, which was four months later. This time the sound was drum like and seemed to be coming from the instrument panel of the living quarters. The living quarters was constructed by the Russians as a separate module. When the sound was first heard, one of the astronauts went outside to try and locate it but he had to come back when his spacesuit overheated. The Russians are working on the problem and hope to be able to find the cause of the sound soon. They think it may be one of the systems inside and not something outside.

The normally quite city of Basehor, Kansas is reporting strange sounds in the sky. The police have reported that many residents have contacted them to tell them that they have heard booming sounds in the sky, yet nothing was there. These reports have been coming in for several months. The sound is not continuous. The sound was described by one resident as sounding like an explosion caused by TNT or dynamite, while another resident said it sounded like fireworks. The sound was not coming from directly over the city but more to the south from an area over County Road 2. A police investigation was started but as of yet nothing has been found that would cause these sounds.

Scientists in England heard a strange noise coming from the sea and recorded it. After careful examination they decided that the sound could be that of some sort of giant sea creature. The sound varies in frequency which is common to marine animals except for the fact that it is way more powerful. The sound is so powerful that a whale would be far too small to have created it. The US Navy also had detected this sound in 1997 while searching for Soviet submarines using sensors that were 3,000 miles apart. Could this be the sound of the legendary giant sea monster depicted in so many stories, only time may tell?

A strange sound was reported coming from Annet, in Scotland. This is a mountainous region. The report was made almost 70 years ago. People reported hearing a loud sound coming from the direction of the mountains. It was said to sound like the noise a train makes. It got louder and louder until finally the ground began to shimmer. It was said that there were tremors in the area, but this experience was very untremmor like. Several people since that time have had the same experience.

Police in Morehead, Kentucky were told that there was a girl crying for help in the woods in 2003. The location of the cries was near Adams Lane and Fifth Road. Also reported was a bright light that remained in the sky for over one minute. The fire department conducted a thermal image search of the area and nothing was found. The search was called off.

It seems there are many strange noises being heard all over the world. Some of these sounds can be accounted for, some can be assumed to be caused by a certain thing while the rest just can't be figured out. Its sort of like a ufo sighting where some of the sightings can be explained while a good percentage can't.
