Every day we hear of theories about things like the age of the earth, solar system, when dinosaurs lived and the age of man, just to mention a few things. Mostly there is agreement among the scientific community about such things, but every once in a while we hear of a theory that is completely at odds with everyone else's. Some may seem ridiculous and others just plain impossible, but wouldn't it be nice to know of at least a few of them, just for informational purposes and who knows, maybe someday they will prove to have some elements of truth in them?

I read about a theory, the other day, that would have to be considered way out there, but it is so different that I will publish the essence of it here. It states that even though there is evidence of man, or what we think of as the ancestors of modern man buried in the earth, the earth is really a relatively new planet and all evidence of its age that was found or is to be found on and in it was put there to fool us. This almost sounds like something from a Twilight Zone story. It certainly would take a powerful race indeed to fabricate something like this. There is no way that I could ever buy this theory, but consider this, if there are enough different theories out there, the odds of one of them being right goes up.

Another theory states that our current theory of evolution is completely wrong. No this does not have to do with any religious teaching, although many religions state the same thing. The theory is said to be based on an accepted scientific principle. When bones are dug up, the strata of dirt they are in is dated and many times this is the basis for determining the age of bones or artifacts. Some human bones have been found in strata of dirt that are far older than they ever should be. If we use one of the current methods for determining the age of bones that were dug up from these dirt strata, then we would have to conclude that evolution didn't take place as stated and that the race of man is far, far older than most suspect. Of course this could also mean that man has evolved more than once on the earth. We have talked of such things in the past and this is not as far fetched as it sounds.When anthropologist Richard Leakey discovered, what is described as the oldest bones of man's relatives it disturbed some scientists. What was the problem? It was the fact that the bones were said to be over 4,000,000 years old, yet they seem to be too closely related to modern man according to the theory of evolution.

Closely tied in with the above theory is what some call evidence of man living at the same time as the dinosaurs. Dr. Caberea was a man that collected stones. Oh these were not any stones, they were carved stones. No one knows exactly who carved them, or why, but there have been many of them found so far. How many? Dr. Caberea had over 11,000 in his collection. What makes these stones so interesting is the fact that they seem to have been carved thousands of years ago by a dead race and show men and accurate depictions of dinosaurs with them. Any school child knows that dinosaurs died out before the advent of man, or did they? Could it be that we believe this, but it is wrong? Looking at these stones, one has to wonder how these unknown, ancient people knew what dinosaurs even looked like. These stones have never been subject to scientific examination as far as I know. This is not the only evidence of men living with dinosaurs. There are figurines in Acambaro, Mexico. These pieces were found at a dig that dated back to somewhere around 800 B.C. and the small statues showed different dinosaur type with man. Over 2,600 of these pieces were found. Who created these pieces? We may never know. The last piece of evidence I would like to discuss regarding dinosaurs living at the same time as man are the foot prints that have been found showing dinosaurs and man walking together. Evidence from the Paluxy River bed in Texas along with other sets of prints from several other countries and areas seem to indicate that man lived in the time of the dinosaurs. This theory may yet turn out to be true.

Here it is again, a chance for me to express my space theory. I believe that the U.S. has two space programs, one is the civilian one run by NASA and the other is run by the U.S. Air Force and is secret. The second one, the Air Force program, may have already put people and bases on the moon and even Mars. Why do I believe such an outrageous thing? It would explain a lot of things. First off, why did we stop going to the moon?. Some say that the aliens warned us not to go back. Sorry but this seems a bit much for the old ticker. I think that the reason that we didn't go back to the moon is simple, we did and are flying back and forth, IN SECRET. Secondly, why aren't we investigating the most mysterious part of Mars with our rovers? I am talking about Cydonia where the so called head, pyramid and ruins are located, instead of slag fields? I believe it is because we are investigating it with astronauts. The British hacker, Gary McKinnon, the one that has been in the news a lot lately and is being extradited to the U.S., stated that while he was hacking different U.S. government sites he found a list of "Non-Terrestrial Officers." Could these be the guys in the secret Air Force program? Why not? What about the footprint I found in a NASA photo from one of the rovers on Mars (Footprint)? Hey, the stealth planes were kept secret until the Iraqi war, that was many years since their development, is it so far fetched to imagine that a second space program could be going on?

There is a phenomena known as spooklights. In the U.S. these mysterious lights are seen in quite a few different places. The lights are also known as ghost lights. They seem to come out of nowhere. One of the most famous lights is called the Brown Mountain Light, but they are also found in Texas, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina and Canada, to name a few areas. There is a theory that states that the lights are ufos and that they take off from under the earth and come back to go back into the earth for landing. It seems that there is always someone ready to blame space aliens for anything that they don't understand. Another theory states that the lights are produced by the very action of the tectonic plates straining against each other. Where these lights come from is still in debate.

As you can see, this subject is one that we could discuss for some time. I find it very interesting and will surely talk about other theories in the future. You know, there are many theories out there on thousands of subjects and it would be interesting to explore more of them, what do you think?
