What Is Going On In The World
Photo Source: Clipart.com Our world is in conflict. Is it a natural fight between religions or peoples as many people think, or is it based on territory by countries that are not even in the region, as others feel is the case? When we stand back and look at things from a distance, what do we see? I for one, see a great hand behind the scenes manipulation both sides for financial gain and power. The history channel had a story on the other day about the Illuminati. That is supposed to be a secret organization that was born out of the Knights Templar who were monks that defended the pilgrims in the holy land and were killed because they had become too rich and a threat to the king or so he thought. Is there a master group that controls the important events in our everyday lives and we don't even realize it? I am not talking of small inconsequential events but major events that shake the world. It certainly is possible. Think of this, profits go up tremendously for munitions companies during war time. Today profits are greater then ever because these companies have figured out how to charge more then ever. Lose a $50,000,000 fighter plane and it has to be replaced. Shoot a few $1,000,000 missiles and you need more, drop some dumb bombs at $5,000 - $10,000 each and they have to be restocked. If you are a munitions dealer you almost can't help but make money today. Then there are the service providers, the large companies that are needed to deal with the needs of the troops, or so it is said. I don't know what ever happened to the troops taking care of themselves as in years past, but we now live in the generation where a large company is paid a fortune to supply things like food and other services. So they overcharge by a couple of billion dollars, hey we are a rich country. I am not being funny here since the large company that seems to get way too many contracts with our government did exactly that and it seems that it never paid the entire amount back and still got more contracts. Hey they didn't even have to bid some of the times, they must be a wonderful company wouldn't you say? Next is the question of resources. What do you do when you want a pipeline and the government of a country isn't going to let you have it? Do you start a revolution and take over the country? Hey maybe, some people will do anything to keep that black gold that is selling for over $70 per barrel flowing. So what if you removed the government, they weren't too friendly anyway were they? Above your new pipeline are the former Soviet states that have oil and will be glad to trade it to up their standard of living. Do you think that this is being orchestrated so far? We haven't even begun to talk about Iraqi oil yet. Keeping the middle east in a constant state of agitation and war is definitely beneficial to some parties. If it isn't a secret organization like the Illuminati then who is really controlling the world. At the very least I think that one would have to say it is the rich and powerful who benefit from strife. There are many ways to benefit from this kind of thing. Think of it this way, even if you are not directly involved with owning munitions or service industries, just the very fact that fighting is going on forces up the prices on many different stocks, allowing you to increase your fortune and when the wars finally end, someone has to rebuild things and you just might be involved in that in some way. Look, this may sound crazy when you first think about it, but check how our government is run. The most powerful lobbyists usually get want they want. We have a government by the lobbyists and for the lobbyists. They go up to lawmakers with pockets bulging with cash that they are not afraid to throw around. Free vacations, extravagant dinners, favors for friends, none of it is off limits in their billion dollar game. Is there really anyone here that believes he can get the government to do anything? Ah but if he was Exxon, wouldn't things be different? Yeah, so I see this picture of events being controlled all over the world by people and companies who are hidden in the background. Maybe I am getting paranoid, but every time something happens in world affairs I disregard the news and ask my self the question, "who would benefit from this?" It is scary, but there are usually many who would. When you tie this in with the current campaigns of disinformation going on in several of the world's countries you can't help but think that things are working out the way they were meant to. Look at the recent documents that came out that show that North Vietnam never fired on our ships in the Gulf of Tonkin. The basis for the Vietnam war was that we were fired upon. What about one of the greatest mysteries of the six day war, the firing upon our ship by the Israelis? It has been said that there are now documents and a recording that state that Johnson turned back planes from two carriers that were going to aid our ship and screamed at the officer in command that he wanted that ship (our ship) at the bottom of the ocean. Why? So that he could blame the Egyptians and we could enter the war. Of course I can't prove this because I haven't personally read the documents, but there is a documentary available on Google that talks about this. Are we being deceived about world events? Oh absolutely. I believe it is on a level that is heretofore unknown in recent times. Even the news media is much more silent than you would expect. If anyone remembers Vietnam, the papers were blaring with news from there every day. Many times the news was bad. There was a constant count of the dead which is conspicuous by its absence in the Iraqi War. After a while the papers were demanding that we end the war. You don't see too much of this with the Iraqi war, do you? How come, do you think it is because everyone believes that Saddam was connected to the 9/11 attack or that he did have weapons of mass destruction? Nah, it is something else! It feels like the newspapers have been given a line that they must not cross. For those of you that have never seen political revenge, let me tell you a short story. I once knew a politician that got someone knocked off a ballot. He hadn't seen this person for over 30 years, but he told me that he was getting even for something the guy did to him those many years ago. I asked him if he was going to let the guy know who did it to him. He said no. Most people, I believe, would want someone who they took revenge against to know who did it to them, but politicians are just in it for the hurt. You don't want to get into a political battle unless you know the score, as they say. Just look at how the CIA agent was outed just because she was the wife of a political enemy, this could have and still might, cost her her life some day. I would like to think that the average person would never go that far to get even, I think we are better than that. Have we reached a point in history where many of the heads of state may be banding together and deciding how the world should be run? It could be a case that only the richest and most powerful get to be world leaders in the first place and these people were all acquainted with each other before they were elected. I don't know, but I do know that if you watch the interaction carefully between world leaders you can see who is in and who is out. Right now, Putin (Russia) is out, Vicente Fox Quesada (Mexico) was out then in but a new election in 2006 gave the presidency to Felipe Calderón, who is still undeclared in this controversial election. Tony Blair (Great Britain) is way in and might as well be Bush's brother. The Chancellor of Germany, Merkel is in, the new conservative Prime Minister of Canada is in. The Saudis are in, the Syrians are out. The Israelis are in, the Iranians are out. The Chinese are out, but we make believe they are in. The North Koreans are out and the South Koreans are really also out but we say that they are in. They disagree with President Bush too much on policy toward North Korean. As more and more conservative politicians get elected, if this happens, they seem to feel a bond with each other that stretches across even national borders. Maybe some day this will be the basis for a world government? For right now I believe that it is time to try and break the strangle hold on our government by the rich and powerful, but who would ever have the power to try it and survive such an attempt? Unfortunately, no one that I can think of. It has to come from the electors, us. We have to try and vote in people that have our interests at heart. Again this can't work unless the current system of lobbying is done away with and strict criminal penalties enacted for receiving gifts by members of the government. While lobbying exists, we don't have a chance. Can't you see it now, a congressman must choose between two bills to vote for. One bill that builds a new school in a small town or another that builds a new factory for a powerful company that wines and dines him and makes promises of even bigger rewards if their bill is passed. Which bill do you think will be signed? Can you imagine what our life in this country would be like if we spent the same mountains of money on the American people that we have spent on the war so far? We would all have hospitalization, a better drug program and maybe even subsidizes for taxes, fuel and education. Who knows what we could have had? Instead we used our money to buy higher oil prices, several wars that no one really wanted and endless government contracts. If you think that we are leaving Iraq soon, think again. We have been very busy constructing permanent bases in that country. I can't be sure of this statement, but I believe it to be true, we have done more construction on bases than rebuilding in that country. Even if the next president decides to pull out the troops, we will have wasted billions on construction. In the old days there was a saying that came about because everyone knew that politicians were pulling off deals to fatten their wallets. The saying was that it was ok as long as they let the common person get his beak into the gravy. What this mean was that the party would make sure you had coal for the winter and food on the table. You just don't see this anymore. |
