What is AUTEC? AUTEC stands for the Atlantic Undersea Test And Evaluation Center. This may not mean much to the average person out there. Let me explain. AUTEC is a government facility that deals with undersea testing. I am sure most of you have heard of Area 51, but in case you haven't, that is another government facility that is top secret and is said to house top secret aircraft and ufos. Why do I mention this? The reason that I had to mention Area 51 is that AUTEC is said to be the Area 51 of the ocean. Many people believe that not only are there new types of undersea craft being tested there, but that there are also ufos and usos there. Usos are unidentified submerged objects and are thought to be ufos that are under the water. AUTEC Facility A major AUTEC base is located at West Palm Beach in Florida. There are also facilities on Andros Island. The U.S. Navy maintains a site called FORACS which is AUTEC's Naval Forces Sensor and Weapons Accuracy Check Site. Here is their definition of what they do there: "he primary mission of AUTEC's Naval Forces Sensor and Weapon Accuracy Check Site (FORACS) is to perform precision measurements of the accuracy of target, surveillance, and navigation sensors installed on surface ships, submarines, and helicopters. AUTEC is affiliated with the NATO FORACS program and the eight participating NATO member nations: Canada, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States." "The FORACS Range is located directly off Site 1 and covers an area 7 by 12 nautical miles (13 by 22 kilometers). It includes: active/passive sonar targets located in various water depths, active and passive radar targets ESM/ECM, and optical sensor targets. A control station ashore houses all target electronics." The AUTEC site is posted with the usual signs that warn people not to go past a certain point or else. Very reminiscent of Area 51. Some people in the Bahamian government are not very happy with their AUTEC installation. They believe that things are going on at the facility that are harmful to the health of their citizens. The problems seem to be environmental. Some Bahamians are saying that the facility is responsible for whale stranding, depleted fish stocks and serious health problems. Do the Bahamians have any cause to think that some or all of their problems are AUTEC related? Sonar tests caused whale and dolphin deaths in the year 2000 and they believe that is part of what is going on now. Could they be right? Possibly but I have no way of knowing for sure if sonar tests are even being conducted there. In 2007 the contract between the U.S. and Bahamas is up. It is usually renewed every ten years. What will happen next year remains to be seen. Recently a German researcher stated that he had recorded the locations of deviations in the Earth's magnetic field. He thinks that it is possible that micro wormholes are causing these deviations. His research has lead him to think that the AUTEC base on Andros Island might be the cause of these deviations. He went on further to explain where he believes four deviations are located. He states that they are located at "Fish Hotel, Lyford Cay, White Hole, near Nassau; and Dogleg Reef, near Marathon, in South Florida." He states that he contacted different scientists and was told that Quantum Physics might lead to inter dimensional connections of some type. It is hard to pin down what exactly some of the scientists were saying because of the non committal nature of their responses but they seem to indicate that if his observations are correct than there is something strange going on.
As you read on, you can't help but come across different theories by people about the AUTEC base. Some people believe that there is some sort of Star Gate there that can facilitate travel between planets and star systems. Watch out for Daniel Jackson! Others think that this is the place that captured ufos are hidden. Then there are those that believe there are aliens on the base and I am not talking about Mexicans. A few people believe that the Bahamas base and surrounding area is actually the top of what was once Atlantis. None of these theories can be proven of course, but they are colorful never the less. Equipment There is plenty of equipment at the base in the Bahamas and at the site in Florida. A glance of the photos on the AUTEC site will verity that. What type it is and what it is used for is another matter. I think we can assume that we do test such things as sonar, new torpedoes, communications and navigation systems. We might test launch systems for missile carrying submarines, experimental systems of many different types and all sorts of unknown systems doing all sorts of unknown things, along with futuristic weapons systems. It is a top secret naval facility after all. Are there alien usos whipping around under the water or ufos launching from beneath the sea? I can't answer this question, but there are certainly many people who believe that there are. One has to remember that these facilities are located in the famed Bermuda Triangle and we all know about the stories of strange goings on there. Is the government involved in any of this? Again how can you tell? Let's look at one specific event from Bermuda Triangle history, the lost flight of planes that departed Florida on 5 December, 1945. All the planes disappeared without a trace and have never been found. Here is the stranger part. A telegram was sent two weeks later to a military barracks, signed with the name of one of the missing pilots, to his brother, stating he was alive. His nickname was used in the telegram and the address it was sent to would not have been known by anyone else. Did the government use these planes for some other purpose? As with so many of these types of things, the veil of secrecy will always be blocking our view. |
