Yankees-baseball – this will only give results for the Yankees baseball team

Using ~
enter ~term1 – this will return all terms related to the one searched for
entering ~inexpensive will return cheap, inexpensive, low cost, etc.

Using OR or |

Enter term1 OR term2
entering New York OR New Jersey will return results for both plus results that mention both at once

Using the domain search
enter term1:net will return the search results only from .net websites

File Types Search
enter url filetype:pdf
aboutfacts.net:pdf brings up only pdf file pages on the Http://aboutfacts.net website.
