Question:

Why do some of the index pages go to a cumulative Index and others to the home page when I press the back button?

Answer:

That happens when a topic doesn't have more than one index page.

Question:

How do I get to the previous index page?

Answer:

Press the Back Button on the index page.

Question:

If an article has more than one page, how do I navigate to the next page?

Answer:

If an article has more than one page, the Next Button on the article page will take you to the next page, but if there is only one page to the article, the next button takes you to a page that tells you that you have reached the end of the article.

Are the pictures on About Facts Net copyrighted?

Answer:

The sources of all photos and graphics are listed under the item. Some I may have special permission to use, so they can not be used. It is up to you to find out if a photo or drawing can be downloaded. If you need a particular photo or drawing you can drop me a line, but you must tell me what page it is on. E.G. AirSpacecraft3 and the name of the photo. If I can grant permission for you to use it, I will be glad to do so.

Question:

Why can't I watch a video that is posted on this site?

Answer:

Either you do not have the correct movie viewer installed on your computer, or you need an extension for you browser. The viewer can be found on our download page and is free. The extensions for you browser have to come from the browser's creator. Example: If you are using Firefox, you can get an add on from Mozella. The same is true for Microsoft Explores, the extension can be gotten from them.

How would I download a photo?

Answer:

Put the cursor over it and press the Right mouse button. A menu will open. Go down to SAVE IMAGE AS and download the picture.

Question:

Can I reprint one of your articles?

Answer:

My articles are copyrighted, as are my audio interviews. There are some articles that you can reprint without my permission. You can find them in the menu on the left, on the main page under FREE REPUBLISHABLE ARTICLES. For any other article you must get my permission. All articles must have their links kept intact.

Question:

The discussion board doesn't connect from most of the articles.

Answer:

Unfortunately the discussion board only connects from articles written in 2009. If you want to get there to discuss older articles, please go to the main page and click on the link there.

Question:

The discussion board doesn't work right away.

Answer:

The discussion board is run by Google and sometimes it takes a day for a new registration to become effectiver. If there are problems joining, make sure that you have cookies turned on.

Question:

You say that there is no advertising on your site, but I see adverts, how come?

Answer:

Some of the things on the site are not from me. An example of this are the Google apps such as tv and other things. Google does advertise as do the people that created them. I have no control over this if you want to use the apps.

Question:

I went to your site on Sunday and the same article was featured as Saturday, how come?

Answer:

No new articles are posted on Sunday, although I usually post all new articles, late the day before they are due, but not always.

Will web browsers other than Internet Explorer load video files with an .mov extension?

Answer:

Probably not. Currently Firexox and Chrome won't as of today 1/5/10.
