Cream always rises to the top, or so it is said. That is what is known as logical thinking, but I say that it depends what the cream is in. Maybe that is my problem, I tend to think about things too much. I am not alone in this pursuit however, there are plenty of other people out there that are even worse than me. I am not a conspiracy theorist, yet I know that there are some true conspiracies that do exist. I do not go as far as the guy that said he wasn't a conspiracy theorist, but he knew that they were watching. Over the years, as I have spoken to different people and looked a little more deeper than most into some of the things that are happening out there, I discovered some interesting facts that the average person is not aware of. Sometimes these facts were hidden by the scientific community, sometimes by the government and sometimes they just never reached our ears. Even historical facts can sometimes be wrong. Another thing that is said is that history is written by the winner and I find this to be extremely true.

One has only to look at what we were doing to some of the suspected terrorists that we captured. Almost anyone that knows anything about getting information from people knows that torture doesn't produce good results. No matter what some may tell you, people being tortured will say anything to stop the torture. This does not mean that they will tell the truth however and most of the time they don't, because they either don't know it or they have no intention of telling. When John McCain was tortured he told the enemy about things that they already knew, at least this is what he said. We have had a big debate on whether water boarding is torture or not and that was a lot of wasted breath. The reason that I say this, is that we already decided at the end of World War II that it was indeed torture and had some of the enemy that used it put to death. So why would we debate something like that again? Here is a quote from the Washington Post, “After Japan surrendered, the United States organized and participated in the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, generally called the Tokyo War Crimes Trials. Leading members of Japan's military and government elite were charged, among their many other crimes, with torturing Allied military personnel and civilians. The principal proof upon which their torture convictions were based was conduct that we would now call water boarding.”

It is an open secret that the Republicans have decided to go after the President and try and make him fail in his policies, not to make things better for the average American citizen, but to gain more seats in the next election. Indeed while the president is trying to provide help to the middle and poor classes, this would stifle his efforts, except for the fact that the American people have given him such a huge majority in the Congress. This type of attack is almost un-american and has never been used before. It is as if the election process is still going on. Indeed one Republican Senator has had enough of this. Arlen Specter is joining the Democratic party. Now the Republicans are worrying that others may do the same thing. These so called secret tactics are all over the news media guys and gals and it is time to stop this nonsense. Republicans have a better chance of being elected if they try and do things to help the average American not hurt him in favor of big business.

Arnold and UFO

The UFO groups are chaffing at the bit for more info from the government. They have high hopes that the Obama Administration will release at least some of the secret stuff that is being kept from us. If one goes back far enough into this stuff, they will see that this was not treated as a joke. Many people have been threatened and some claim that there have even been murders. Several people connected with UFO investigations have been found murdered. One was even hung with a piece of barbed wire. As we have already been told, people were threatened who lived in Roswell that saw anything to do with the famous UFO crash. They were told that their bones would be found in the desert if they talked. That was not the exact words, but it is close enough. We all know, or should know that UFOs and national security have to go hand in hand. Many UFOs are probably secret military craft and the government wants to keep them secret from our enemies and thus secret from us. The problem is that it seems that some of these things could also be from outer space and there is a good chance that they are extraterrestrial and both categories have been lumped together.

I have been told in the past, not to look too deep into certain things that were connected to UFOs and this was not by one person, but by several. I have found that some UFO investigators are quite intelligent and honorable and their investigations are as competent as any that a government investigator would perform and perhaps even more thorough. I have also met a few people who's names I will not mention that seem to have gone over the top on the subject of UFOs. They see an alien in every corner, so to speak. Some have even talked to me about curses, not the Egyptian type, but curses from extraterrestrials. I have to admit that I stay polite, but I just let this stuff go into one ear and out the other. It reminds me of some of the people from the late 1950s that used to dress up in silly costumes and claim that they went to different planets on sightseeing tours with aliens. It is people like this that give the whole field of UFO study a bad name.

I have saved the government conspiracy field for last. Some people believe and I think rightfully so, that John F. Kennedy was killed with the help of someone in the government and that there was more than one shooter. This has been backed up by a photograph of a puff of smoke coming from the grassy knoll at precisely the time he was shot. There was also a story of a policeman without a hat running from that spot in tears. Government conspiracies are nothing new. James Forrestal was the Secretary of the Navy and became the first Secretary of Defense. The story goes that he was talking about things that he shouldn't, so he was put into Bethesda Naval Hospital where he was pushed out of a high window. The locked screens were found open as was the window. His autopsy was never made public. An even later conspiracy concerns Ron Brown, Bill Clinton's Commerce Secretary. His plane crashed and killed him and all aboard. It is said that he was near the point of being indicted and it was felt that he was killed by those that thought that he would talk. Some even claim that there might have been a bullet hole in his head, but that seems unlikely since the plane crash was so fatal anyway.

There is just so much that we can look into, enough to keep someone busy for the rest of their natural lives. The trick is to try and look at things responsibly and not jump to conclusions, even though the flow may be going that way.
