So you think that everything is cut and dry? You believe that we live simple or not so simple lives, know most of what is going on, grow old and die. The problem with this theory is that it does not account for all the strange things around us, many of which are totally ignored. Our physics doesn't make sense in some areas. The laws of our beloved Einstein seem to break down in some areas. Things are found that we can not account for and many of them are historical. We see shows about some of these things and the shows purposely or just out of ignorance ignore very important parts of the the story that they are talking about. Some times it is out of ignorance, but sometimes it is done to make the story sound even better. This type of reporting is not only incomplete, it is deceiving.

A very well known television show had an episode that discussed those ancient trinkets from South America that look exactly like jet planes. The problem is that they are over 1500 years old. They acted like they had never heard about these things before and even had models made to see if they could truly fly and they did. That is not the problem, the problem is that all this had been done before a few times and they must have known this if they were doing research into these things, since at least one of the investigators has been around for many years. Not only that, but they never mentioned the fact that even older models of planes existed and were from ancient Egyptian tombs and flew. A very important part of the story had been left out. When models of the South American planes had been constructed before, one had been made with a jet engine and was not just a glider and it flew perfectly. It turned out that the models proved that these were not ordinary planes, but had lifting bodies much like the space shuttle. If you are going to tell a story, tell the entire story. The background of this story is important since there is a chance that the South American pyramids were inspired by the Egyptian ones. If that is true, than maybe the tiny planes were inspired by the Egyptian ones also?

We all know that dinosaurs roamed the earth hundreds of millions of years ago. The question that comes up sometimes is, “are there any around today?” We hear stories about monsters in Loch Ness and Lake Champlain and many other lakes, but there is no evidence to support this. As a matter of fact, even that famous photo of the Loch Ness monster was an admitted hoax. There is another photo though that is harder to explain. It dates back to 1890. Supposedly a couple of miners in Arizona saw a huge flying creature out in the desert. They were astounded and scared. They both grabbed their rifles and opened fire on the creature, bringing it down. They had killed it. It was so unusual that they many townsmen wanted their photo taken with it, or so the story goes. The wingspan of the creature was in excess of 160 feet and the body over 90 feet long. I think that these figures are a bit of an exaggeration, but you can look at the photo of the creature and judge for yourself. These guys had killed a flying dinosaur, if the photo is not a hoax.

We think that we live in a place where the medical profession is always looking out for out best interests and indeed that is true with many individual doctors, but unfortunately not with all. History is replete with medical experiments being performed on the unknowing. Some people were lied to about what was going to be done to them. Others did not even know that they were part of a dangerous medical experiment. Amazingly these kinds of things have been going on for almost 200 years right here. In 1995 a college student who needed money took part in a medical experiment. He was not told how dangerous it could be. He was given $150 dollars for his pay and died right after. In 2003 a two year old boy died after a heart operation. He was given a different operation from what his parents were told. This operation was purely experimental and he died. The parents found out during the autopsy. In 1963 a doctor injected senile female African Americans with cancer so he could watch their immune response. He had done the same thing eleven years before with prisoners. Doctors and the military have injected people with radioactive material, released infected bugs into the air, experimented on orphans and done some really terrible things over the years.

I don't mean to destroy anyone's idea of what life is really about, but there is a broader view of life that many of us just don't see. Things are happening around us all the time that are strange and unusual. Sometimes they are very bad, sometimes they are unexpected and sometimes they amaze us. One of the things that a few people are completely convinced of is that we have time travel. I would love to say that this is baloney and I don't really think that we have it, but it might explain some things that seem to be unexplainable. Here is an example of what I am talking about. A Chinese tomb was just opened. It was over 400 years old and had been sealed all that time. There was no other way into the tomb. When the tomb was opened and examined, it was done by several people at once. While digging through the mud and rock of the tomb something was found that just could not be explained. It was a tiny Swiss watch about 100 years old. How did it get there? As I said the tomb was completely sealed and one could see that it had never been opened. Did some traveler from the future have the antique watch on him. It was in the shape of a ring and could have fallen off of his finger. The watch discovery made such an impact that the dig was suspended until more experts could get there.

Some scientists are saying that we are no longer all alike. It other words, it was believed that humans were only different at skin level, aside from that we were all the same. Science now says that this is no longer the case and some children are far more advanced genetically than the rest of us. They claim that evolution is taking place far faster with these children and that someday the rest of us may go the way of the Neanderthal. The DNA is changing far faster than ever before. Some scientists are saying that we are not the same people that we were even 10,000 years ago. Prior to the Human Genome Project this may not have been noticed for many years, but now scientists are comparing us to our ancestors. Some of us are becoming very resistant to some diseases such as HIV while others are becoming able to metabolize sugar. Where is all this leading us? It is hard to say, but one thing is for sure, the speed of our evolution has now increased by at least 100 times in the last 5000 to 10000 years. Here is a tiny example of what is going on. In Germany 3000 years ago almost no one could digest lactose, the sugar in milk. Today almost everyone in Germany can.

The world is certainly not as cut and dry as many of us think that it is. There are strange wonders all around us. If humans weren't so secretive and afraid of ridicule we would know a lot more about this. Much of this stuff is just not talked about. Even the subject of UFOs leads us to think that there may be a chance that we are not alone on this world as most of us think that we are. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy” (Shakespeare)
