The Top Five Conspiracy Theories

What are the top five conspiracy theories?

As I checked what people thought that they were, I noticed that some people had slightly different lists than others and the lists were defined in different order of importance. In other words, what someone thought was the number 1 conspiracy, someone else might have thought was number 3, or 4. Most of the lists pretty much contained the same events, which was even more of a surprise.

9/11

Number one on most lists was the 9/11 attack on the twin towers and the pentagon. I certainly can see how this is number one. There was so much that didn't make sense. The building were supposed to resist fire and indeed skyscrapers in other countries that were on fire for days, never came down. I remember hearing about one in South America that had flames hotter than the twin towers, that burned much longer and still stood. Then there were the explosions that many saw that seemed to be controlled to bring down the building. Indeed the building came down exactly the same way one does in a controlled demolition The Pentagon was supposedly hit by a plane and yet, no plane wreckage was ever found. Even the cameras do not show a plane hitting it and the witnesses that saw a plane put it in a path where it could not have hit the pentagon. Many of the so called terrorists who were said to have been on the crashed planes and to have died on the plane crash, are alive and well and not terrorists at all. They are working for different airlines and yet their names remain on the list of terrorists killed on impact.

President Kennedy

Number two on most lists is the Kennedy Assassination When Kennedy was shot, Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested, but many say that a second shot was fired from the grassy knoll that the motorcade passed. There were stories of a crying policeman running out from there who was suspected of firing the shot and there were photos that were taken that seem to indicate that a shot did come from that area. It seems that a woman was snapping away and for some reason just happened to get a photo of that area. Oswald was killed by Jack Ruby before he could talk. This certainly does smack of conspiracy. The Kennedy case never seems to go away. In a book that I read recently there are photographs of then President Johnson standing next to the Kennedy coffin with Jacqueline Kennedy next to him and smiling at a legislator. This led the author of this book, Dark Mission, to conclude that Johnson might have been in on the killing.

Apollo

Number three is something that we have been hearing an awful lot of on the Internet. It has to do with us landing on the moon. Many people think that the moon landing was a hoax and that we never landed on the moon at all. To prove their point they have picked out photos from the moon that seem to show the astronauts in different areas and yet the same hills are behind them. They also point out that some of the photos are altered. It is true that some of the photos coming from NASA have been airbrushed and sometimes altered, but this may not be the reason. There were also many photos taken of simulated moon landings with an entire stage set up to look like the moon and some say that is where the photos come from not from Luna itself.

Number four has to do with alien contact. There are said to have been quite a few crashes of UFOs around the world and indeed every day brings new UFO sightings. Some people are saying that our technology has advanced too fast for us to be the main catalyst of all this advanced technology. They believe that aliens have contacted us and that this fact is being kept secret. Indeed there is a story of President Eisenhower meeting secretly with aliens and another of President Nixon showing alien bodies to his friend the famous comedian Jackie Gleason. Even the transistor was said to have been back engineered from something that was found at the Roswell crash. This theory is gaining more followers every day.

The number five conspiracy theory has to do with the death of Princess Diana. It states that she was not killed in an accident, but was murdered by the royal family. She died in 1997 while with Dodi Fayed in a car accident and the story was that she was trying to get away from photographers in Paris. There was a scandal because of their relationship, as Dodi was Muslim and Diana was the mother of the future head of the Church of England. Many people believe that a plot existed to kill her and this event has been rehashed by people all over the world. It has been said that she was pregnant and was going to marry Fayed. Many people and agencies have been blamed for her death including the Royal Family, CIA, MI5, the Freemasons, IRA and even the Mossad.

Conspiracy theories will always exist. Some people see conspiracy in everything, yet there are times that most of us can see that things are not the same as what we are being told. Sometimes the official line is just an insult to our intelligence. Just look at all the different explanations that have been given by the government for the Roswell crash. The last explanation regarding the sighting of alien bodies was that dummies were dropped from planes that had hooks in their heads, but if we check this story we see that this didn't happen until years after the crash. So many different bad explanations have been given for this event that one has to conclude that something is being hidden, but this something is not necessarily the fact that a UFO crashed.

Conspiracy theories are part of our psyche and I guess that as long as there are humans there will be conspiracy theories.
