There are so many rumors that we come across that we can neither prove or disprove that I thought it might be interesting to talk about. Let's look at some of them.

One of the first things that comes to mind is the story about TWA Flight 800 that crashed over Long Island Sound in New York, USA. For years the US government has claimed that the plane experienced mechanical difficulties and crashed. Others swear that they saw a missile hit the plane and knock it out of the sky. Indeed even one examiner stated that a round entry hole could be seen in the side of the plane and another swore that rocket fuel was detected on the seat next to the entry hole. The government still states that it was some sort of failure that made the plane crash. It is also said that an agent from the Defense Intelligence Agency advised the FBI on July 23, 1996 that the evidence was consistent with the exhaust of a MANPAD which is a Man-portable air-defense missile.

For years there has supposedly been a car around that can run 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. This rumor has been persistent and just won't go away. It is said that a process was developed for welding that would allow water to replace acetylene torches and it is said that this can also be applied to automobiles. The water, which is H20 is said to be converted to HHO. In other words the hydrogen is taken from the water to power the car. The next part of the rumor says that Denny Klein, the inventor of the process is dead and that is why we have not heard any more about it. Gulf of Tonkin Incident – supposedly three North Vietnamese torpedo boats engaged the USS Maddox and the Maddox damaged all three. A second incident was said to have taken place where the Maddox was joined by the USS Turner Joy and both were again attacked by North Vietnamese boats. The second report, in later years, was said to be in error. This is important because these supposed attacks were our reason for getting into the Vietnam war. Many people say that the first attack never took place either and the government in their rush to get us into the war, made the entire story up. It didn't help the government case when the second report was proven false.

Chemtrails have been hot in the news for a long time. There have been many photos taken of planes that seem to be releasing vapor or gas in planned patterns into the atmosphere. Sometimes many aircraft are involved and are using a sort of checker board pattern. The government and airlines state that this is merely water vapor from the engines, but others ask the question, “why are so many aircraft involved at times and why such covering patterns?” They go on to state that they believe that this has something to do with germ warfare and they believe that the government has been spraying the US population with some sort of drug to protect it from some of the germ warfare assets out there.

Every once in a while you will see a story on cattle mutilations. Some ranchers have experienced so many of them that they have been put out of business. The mutilations usually occur in the west, curiously close to where the atomic testing took place and some of the organs that have been removed from the cattle would be the first to be affected by radiation. Some people feel that even though the story of aliens abducting cattle and cutting them up and returning them is out there, that it is humans doing this and the reason for it is that we have been exposed to too much radiation from out tests and they are checking to see the general health of the cattle to judge our general health. Remember some people have seen helicopters made to look like disc shaped UFOs that have taken cattle. The big mystery is why they return them?

One of the newest rumors is that the US has been building underwater bases using new tunnel digging machines. It is being said that they have now connected almost all above ground bases with tunnels that run hundreds of miles in some cases and have extended these tunnels to under the ocean. They even go so far as to state that we have new planes that can rise from the ocean and then fly and that because these planes look different than conventional planes, they are being mistaken for UFOs.

Another story has been going around for years and that story states that huge amounts of gold have disappeared, not only from the United States gold reserve, but also from the Canadian mint. Then there is the allegation that billions in gold were stolen from under the World Trade Center on 9/11 during the attacks. Some even say that the attacks were just a front for the biggest robbery in the history of the world. The story goes that when the tunnels under the World Trade Center were finally accessed after the attack, one gold bar and a broken down truck were found.

The last item that I would like to talk about is the aids virus. Supposedly the aids virus came from monkeys in Africa and mutated. That is not what everyone believes however. There are quite a large amount of people that believe that the aids virus came from a lab that was working on viral weapons for the US Government and that somehow a careless scientists allowed it to escape. It is said that it mutated several times and because of this no anti-viral medicine could be developed.

Remember what I said at the beginning of this article, these are all rumors and can not be proven. I have talked about them because others are talking about them and I thought that they might peak your interest.
