Plaque On Wall Of Ancient Temple At Abydos In Egypt

The temple at Abydos has always fascinated me, especially the plaque that seems to show a helicopter, jet plane, flying saucer and something else. The question has been asked many times about how ancient people could have known about such things. One lame explanation made by archaeologists stated that the plaque was redone many times in the past and some of the work from the past mixes with the newer work and they seem to form images of these things, but it is our eyes playing tricks on us. All I can say for this explanation is that it is the stupidest thing that I have ever heard. It is hard to believe that the people that put this theory forth are scientists, because they seem too dumb to have ever graduated grammar school. Yeah sure, these images just happen to imitate a helicopter, a jet plane, another plane and a UFO. My goodness they must think that we are really stupid. They really don't believe what they said of course.

This still leaves the question of what was seen by these ancient people and how. When we look at some of the theories that have been put forward, we find some interesting explanations of what could have happened. Unfortunately every one of these theories is beyond our known science today, but I would like to go over them anyway, I hope that you don't mind.

The first theory states that there was a race on earth that was much like us, only over time they progressed further than we have and somehow the Egyptians were told about this and created the plaque at Abydos to show the progress of this race. There are some things that seem not to fit with this theory. The first that comes to mind is, why didn't the plaque show a sort of Wright Bros type aircraft first. It would seem to me that the first aircraft would be important to show. Secondly, doesn't it seem strange that the aircraft would look so much like what we have today, especially the helicopter?

The next theory is similar to the above theory, but it states that Atlantis was once a powerful place that was ahead of us in science and technology. It was destroyed and a few survivors made it to ancient Egypt and had the plaque constructed to remind future races of what once was. The few that survived were not scientists so they were not equipped to reconstruct anything and the secrets were lost when they died. I sort of like this theory, but I don't believe it is true.

The next theory states that millions of years ago there was an advanced race. They reached great heights colonizing the Moon and even Mars. They had made enemies and there was a great war. They were blasted out of existence and their bases on the Moon and Mars were reduced to rubble. The ancient Egyptians were said to have found a relic that contained drawings of some of their craft and that relic or a copy of it, is what is on the wall at the temple of Abydos. Some of this was spoken about in the book Dark Mission and in other books. They talk about Moon bases that are very ancient and exist in the form of ruins today and seem to have been blasted in a war. They claim that great glass domes once covered huge craters that contained all sorts of buildings and the remains of these domes are still apparent. They go on to say that the same is true for Mars where other ruins exist that seem to have been destroyed in a war.

Another theory states that a time traveler from the future made his way back to ancient Egypt. He spoke with the Egyptians and showed them pictures of some of the craft that had been flown through the history of Earth up to his time. The ancients remembered some of them and put the pictures on a plaque and into the temple because they thought of him as a god. That would have been very understandable for primitive people to feel this way.

The alien theory states that aliens had been watching the earth for millions of years. They watched as a prior race of humans developed and recorded their accomplishments before their downfall from wars. They came down to earth and met with the Egyptians, who by the way were a newer incarnation of humans since the previous race had been destroyed millions of years before. They wanted to tell the Egyptians what happened, to warm them to take a different path. The Egyptians copied the photos of some of the machines that they were shown and put them on the plaque at Abydos. They built their temples and great pyramids to honor these aliens who they believed were gods and we can see what they looked like by viewing the drawings and paintings of some of the Egyptian gods.

There is a theory that the great space wars talked about in ancient Indian tales were true, because they were just too detailed for the time to have been made up. The ancient Egyptians found out about the beings and craft that fought, because they found some records of the craft that participated and illustrations of them and copied them to the plaque at Abydos.

Another theory states that a vortex exists somewhere around the temple at Abydos and the ancient Egyptians were able to observe events in the future while looking into the vortex. They supposedly copied what they saw and decided to put the flying machines on a plaque because they thought that the gods were in the sky and that flying machines traveled to the gods.

I guess we may never know how the pictures of aircraft and UFOs got onto the plaque at the temple of Abydos. It certainly is one of the greatest of all mysteries. What is really great about it is that the fact couldn't be hidden, because too many people over the centuries had seen the plaque and talked about it. It was not until recent times that people realized what they were looking at however. Whether it was aliens that transmitted the information to the Egyptians, or humans, the fact remains that there are ancient pictures of modern machines on the wall of the temple and I for one would love to know how they got there.
