Things at NASA don't seem too promising. Many of the projects are going to be subject to the economic crisis that has hold of the world right now. The old space shuttle is just creaking along risking lives every time it takes off and lands. It is like flying a World War I plane in World War II. Think about it, the space shuttle was designed over 30 years ago and has been flying about 29 years. If we took a fighter plane from World War I which ended in 1918 and used it for 30 years, we would have still been using it in 1948. To put this in modern terms, your 1980 car, if it is still on the road, would be the equivalent in autos. There is more than a big difference however. Each time the shuttle goes up, it is subject to far more stress than any car on the road. It just was never designed to be flown this long. The shuttle was only designed for about 100 launches or ten years. The designer was Maxime Faget, the same person that oversaw the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo designs. The problem was that the original design for the shuttle was much better than the design that we ended up with. It was said that the military objected to the original design, because they wanted a shuttle that could hold the largest military satellites for launching. When you take a design and stretch it, you are bound to lose something and the shuttle did. There is a rumor that what we perceive as the shuttles performance capabilities have been scaled back so that we really don't know what the shuttle is capable of. I don't know if any of this is true, but if it is, it probably only applies to the range that the shuttle can fly and maybe the payload it can lift. There is almost no doubt in my mind that the space shuttle can not do anything like fly to the moon. I do think that there is a chance that we have a military space station that is further out than the International Space Station and that the shuttle just might be able to reach it. Every once in a while there is a report of a secret space station. As we all know by now, we have been working diligently on an invisibility shield. There are those that think that we have succeeded and that success happened years ago. This is important, because the supposed military space station is said to be shielded in some way that it can not be seen with the naked eye. We know that objects behind something can be projected to the front of it, making it invisible. We also know that there is now a material that bends light around an object. If a space station uses one of these methods it would be invisible. This might also be a good way of hiding the fact that the space shuttle was going to a space station further out in space, because the shuttle could also employ this technology. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem to me that it would take much more fuel to reach a space station that was further out. The international Space Station is at an altitude of 212 miles. Another space station could be on the opposite side of the earth or maybe up somewhat higher. At that height the orbit decays about 79 inches a month. The big question is how was it built without the construction being seen? Could it be that not only the ship was cloaked somehow that brought parts up to it, but that a section of space was clocked that hid the construction going on behind it? As technology advances times become more interesting. What I have suggested here about how a military space station could have been built would have had me laughed off of the internet years ago, but today, many of us realize that it is a possibility, even if they don't agree that one exists. There have been times when the space shuttle took an inordinate amount of time to dock with the ISS and this has suggested to more than a few people that it made a stop somewhere else first. That somewhere could have been another secret space station. In 2007 it took 52 hours before the shuttle docked with the ISS and that is very hard to explain, even though NASA will give you every excuse in the book. There have been rumors of secret space stations since World War II. The first rumors started when the Nazis began using rockets. It was said that they were able to launch a space station. The rumors continued when it was said that at least one of the space stations that was supposed to have come back down and burned up really didn't and what we saw was a large rocket reentering the atmosphere and that space station was moved to a secret location. That brings us up to the current time where some think a military space station exists. It was written about in the book “Dark Mission” and has been discussed for years on message boards all over the Internet. There are also those that think that there is an alien space station up there somewhere and that we might be visiting it. Even some astronauts admit to extraterrestrials. The video also shows a lot of action all around the station. To see the video click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTjk7uuSScI We tend to think in terms of rockets, yes the space shuttle is really a rocket, and space stations, but could we have other things in space? I have always said that if the military is more advanced in space ships and construction in space, it should be shared with the civilian sector to save us from having to try to reinvent some of the machines that the military may already have. It seems to me and I don't know if you would agree, that we have not publicly advanced very much in space travel and that seems very suspicious. I say that because if we look at the other sectors of technology we see huge advances. For instance, our computer power doubles in about every 18 months or less. Could it be that the same is true for space travel, but it is being hidden from us? It seems very strange that we are still saying that the space shuttle has to be used because we have yet to design a replacement for it. One private company is even refitting a jet plane to be used as a space vehicle. If they can do this now, what is holding NASA back? They could say it is their budget and indeed the money is almost all going to shuttles and the ISS, but that doesn't take into account the technological advances already made that would allow for a new vehicle with minimum investment. There could even be vehicles out there that would require very little adjustment to become space vehicles. As crazy as it sounds, could a huge cargo plane be retrofitted to become a space truck? We must have learned much from all those shuttle flights that could be applied to creating a relatively cheap replacement for the shuttle. Why must everything cost many billions of dollars? As we look at some of the companies that have connections with the politicians we seem to get a picture of overcharges, payoffs and collusion |
